Pre + Post-Care Guide

Microneedling is a powerful treatment that rejuvenates your skin by stimulating collagen production. Following these pre- and post-care guidelines will ensure you get the best results while minimizing risks.

1. Avoid Exfoliation: Discontinue use of exfoliating products, including acids, retinoids, and scrubs, at least 5-7 days before your appointment to prevent skin sensitivity.
2. Limit Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for at least one week before treatment to ensure your skin is not compromised.
3. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and use hydrating skincare products to prep your skin.
4. Skip Aggressive Treatments: Avoid chemical peels, waxing, laser treatments, or any other intensive skin procedures for at least two weeks prior to your session.
5. Communicate with Your Alchemist: Inform us if you’ve recently had Botox, fillers, or other medical treatments, as this may affect your session.
6. Arrive with Clean Skin: Ensure your skin is free of makeup, sunscreen, and lotions on the day of your treatment.

SkinPen Microneedling:

1. Apply Skinfuse® Lift HG as needed on the day of your treatment to maintain hydration.
2. Reapply as necessary for up to 24 hours. Note: This is the only product that can be used within the first 24 hours!
3. Begin using Rescue Gel after 24 hours to support healing and soothe the skin.

Biocellulose Masque Application:

1. A biocellulose mask may be applied immediately post-treatment to provide intense hydration, soothe the skin, and promote healing.
2. The mask helps reduce redness and supports the skin’s recovery process. Use one daily for the first 3-5 days post-procedure for best results.

SkinPen Microneedling + PRP:

1. Leave the PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) on your skin for as long as possible on the first day/night to maximize absorption and results.

Important Reminders

1. Microchannels created during your treatment may remain open for up to 24 hours.
2. Avoid using any products other than the recommended ones to prevent irritation or unexpected complications.
