What does Allon mean?

Allon is a Hebrew word meaning oak and strong. Nadja wanted a name that represented not only what we do here but also something that spoke to the area of North Carolina where we are located. The beautiful mountains and trees of Asheville inspire us not only in the visual landscape but in the desire to be active. Whether its hiking or biking the many trails, playing on the rivers and lakes, or walking the downtown area with its shops and restaurants, we seek to keep you moving and feeling your best.

Who we are

Nadja Simon, ACE CPT, CSCS, owner of Allon Health and Wellness

My coppersmith Grandfather was a huge influence on me from an early age to this day. Under his tutelage I learned how to work in metal creating jewelry and sculpture. I pursued metal smithing in college and as an adult worked as a brass and woodwind musical instrument repair technician, jewelry maker and glass blower. I loved the process of making and repairing things because of the problem solving aspect. To construct or repair a piece one has to deconstruct and reconstruct. Discovering personal training as a career midlife by attending the Health and Fitness Science program at AB Tech was a life changer for me. I found the pond I was meant to swim in. My passion is learning, remaining curious and working with people.

I am totally in love with the many benefits of strength training and powerlifting. My jam is seeing people get stronger, more confident and healthier no matter what level they are.

Ann Boss MayCock

ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I grew up with 3 brothers and one sister -- all close in age. For as long as I can remember, we were outside running around, playing games and having fun. When I was older, I actively participated in organized sports. As I age, I’ve continued to find new pursuits to stay active. Camping, hiking, and walking in the woods with friends and family are my passion these days. But being outside is still my happy place.

My career has mostly been in various aspects of technology -- programming, project management and training. A recent opportunity to make a change to something more active led me to pursue a future in health and fitness coaching. I want to help others experience the satisfaction and happiness that comes from staying strong and healthy so we can continue being able to do the things we love and enjoy.

Natasha Outlaw | Personal Trainer & Licensed Massage Therapist

Health and wellness are not one-size-fits-all, and neither is the approach Natasha Outlaw takes with her clients. As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Yoga Instructor, Natasha believes every body has a unique story, unique needs, and unique goals.

Certified as a Personal Trainer since 2023, Natasha also holds certifications in Group Exercise, Youth Fitness Specialist, and ISSA Glute Specialist. Her training philosophy focuses on creating individualized programs that help clients build strength, improve mobility, increase confidence, and achieve sustainable results based on their personal goals—not someone else's.

As a massage therapist, Natasha specializes in neuromuscular bodywork and takes an intentional approach to helping clients move and feel better. Her sessions often incorporate myofascial release techniques and, when appropriate, elements of on-table Thai bodywork to address movement restrictions, muscular imbalances, and chronic tension. She believes that movement is medicine and often reminds clients that "motion is lotion"—healthy movement is one of the keys to maintaining a healthy body.

Drawing from her extensive yoga background and hands-on bodywork experience, Natasha bridges the gap between fitness, recovery, and overall wellness. Whether working with clients in the gym or on the massage table, her goal is the same: helping people move better, feel better, and live better.

Office hours are made by appointments only at this time but please call 252 862 5122 because same-day appointments may be available. Cash, check, Venmo, Paypal, ApplePay. NO CREDIT CARDS

Molly Hewitt Lane

Molly has nearly 10 years of one-on-one coaching experience. She moved to Asheville to attend Warren Wilson College and the pull of these mountains has kept her here since 2006. She is a NASM certified personal trainer, with additional certifications in nutrition coaching from ACE and kettlebell instruction from NESTA. Molly works with a broad client base, from regular people seeking to become stronger and leaner, to outdoor endurance athletes who need low-dose strength training to remain injury-free, to women wondering exactly what the hell is going on in their perimenopause era, to competitive bodybuilders pursuing pro status. Call it a high value for diversity, or call it ADHD variety-seeking, but Molly equally enjoys being an ambassador for folks who are JUST getting their start in the gym as she does working with seasoned athletes who need incredibly specific event prep coaching. In addition to coaching, Molly has bopped around town as a grave digger for a local conservation burial ground, a book trader at a used bookstore, a Hospice volunteer, an Our Voice client advocate, and a bartender and server in some of Asheville's old school cool restaurants. What has characterized all of her work experience is being hands-on and being of service to the community, getting in there, getting dirty, and meeting people with support in their challenging and vulnerable moments. She believes that movement is medicine and that deepening our relationship to our bodies through training is the most radical form of healthcare and self-care there is.

Aylin Collier

Aylin is a long-time practitioner and instructor of yoga and movement. She has trained in a wealth of yoga styles and modalities and has been teaching for 20 years. As her learning process continues, her understanding of the practice constantly evolves. She is currently interested in more evidence-based approaches to yoga. As such, she brings her understanding of biomechanics, pain-science, strength and mobility training into her classes.

Aylin's current style of teaching is a fusion of yoga poses, mobility and strength-based sequences as well as breathing and relaxation exercises. While she retains many elements of a traditional yoga class, she blends in mindful movements, balance, coordination and strength drills into the practice. Since our bodies are unique, she believes the practice needs to be customized to meet the practitioner’s needs rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all alignment approach.

Aylin invites you to explore your own body and mind on your mat and discover your own yoga journey.

Duane Adams

Duane Adams is a lifelong advocate for health, strength, and functional longevity. He

founded 3 Planes Functional Health, LLC in 2024 after nearly a decade as an American

Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Corrective Exercise

Specialist.

Before becoming a trainer, Duane spent seven years competing as a natural

bodybuilder in the National Physique Committee (NPC). As a middleweight competitor,

he consistently placed in the top three, earning first place at the Elite Muscle Classic

and two secondplace finishes at the North Carolina State Bodybuilding Championships.

He also competed twice at the Jr. USA Championships, finishing in the top 10. Prior to

joining the NPC, Duane won the Overall Novice title at the Carolina Supernatural and

returned the following year to win the Men’s Overall Bodybuilding Championship. His

competitive career also includes multiple Best Poser awards. Duane’s competitive

tenure taught him the importance of mobility over time. In his words, “It’s not so much a

loss of strength that makes us weaker over time. It’s a loss of mobility.”

Today, Duane specializes in developing customized, functional training programs that

help clients build strength, improve mobility, and adopt sustainable habits around

exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness. His approach integrates modalities such as

myofascial release, stretching, resistance training, isometrics, calisthenics, and

high intensity interval training (HIIT).

A central focus of Duane’s coaching is recovery and injury prevention. He believes that

staying pain free is essential for longterm progress, confidence, and quality of life —

both personally and professionally. His mission is to help every client move better, feel

stronger, and live with greater physical freedom.
