Hey, I’m Back — and CURA Is Just Getting Started

It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog, and it feels good to finally sit down and share where life, and well of course CURA has taken me. This past year has been one of the most challenging and rewarding chapters of my life.

CURA Wellness is nearing its one-year anniversary, and when I look back on how far we’ve come, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming mix of pride, exhaustion, and gratitude. Building this space from the ground up has demanded everything: late nights, hard decisions, moments of doubt, and countless sacrifices that no one really sees. There have been times where I questioned myself, where my faith was tested, and where the weight of running a business felt heavier than I could have ever imagined.

But even through those moments, I NEVER lost sight of why CURA exists. This work was and is so much more than just me, it’s creating a space where people can heal, reconnect, and feel whole again. CURA has become my purpose. And that purpose, as challenging as it can be, is also my own form of wellness. Because wellness isn’t always calm and easy. Sometimes, it’s the process of breaking down and rebuilding stronger.

Every late night, every obstacle, every test of faith has shaped both me and this business into something real, something alive. CURA has grown beyond a wellness center, it has become a reflection of resilience, community, and heart.

We’ve introduced new services like corrective exercise through yet another journey I took on in becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. We welcomed yoga and pilates, and although it did not workout as perfect as I’d hoped, I am excited to welcome new ideas in the future on how we can bring movement back. We have been so incredibly fortunate to expand our offerings by bringing on absolutely amazing therapists, Dillon and Jennifer. Both Dillon and Jennifer share the same sentiments of wellness, passion and community as I do so I firmly believe their additions will be pivotal to the work we do here at CURA. And most important I have connected with incredible people who believe in what we’re doing. CURA has become a reminder that growth often requires discomfort and that healing isn’t just for our clients, it’s something we practice right alongside you.

If you’re reading this and feeling stretched thin, uncertain, or worn out, know that I see you. Maybe your version of “wellness” right now isn’t about slowing down, but about holding on. About trusting that what you’re building whether it be in your health, your life, your purpose, it will all be worth the effort.

This next season for CURA is about renewal. About showing up again, even when it’s hard. About continuing to create a space for healing, for you, and for us here at CURA.

So, here’s to the ones who keep going. To rebuilding. To believing. To wellness in every form, even the messy, imperfect kind.
