The Gemini Nails Apprenticeship Program is designed for motivated individuals who want to become licensed Nail Technicians through hands-on training, one-on-one mentorship, and real-world salon experience.

You'll work alongside experienced professionals while learning not only the technical skills required for licensure, but also the professionalism, client care, and business knowledge needed to build a successful long-term career.

We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn.

This position is part of Virginia’s Registered Nail Technology Apprenticeship Program, in accordance with Virginia Department of Labor and Industry (VDLI) and provides a paid pathway toward becoming a licensed nail technician. The apprentice will receive structured, hands-on training while working under the supervision of licensed nail professionals at Gemini Nails.

Program completion requires:

1. 2,000 hours of paid, supervised on-the-job training
2. A minimum of 144 hours of related technical instruction
3. Training in sanitation and safety, natural nail care, manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, product knowledge, client service, and salon operations
4. Consistent attendance, participation in required instruction, and documented progress throughout the program

The apprenticeship is designed to be completed through consistent employment. Full-time participation is the standard, although part-time schedules may be considered and will extend the time needed to complete the required training hours.

1. Be at least 16 years old
2. Have a strong interest in pursuing a long-term career as a licensed nail technician
3. Complete all required technical instruction and maintain accurate training records
4. Be willing and able to commit to the full apprenticeship training program
5. Be dependable, professional, and eager to learn
6. Be comfortable receiving ongoing instruction, feedback, and performance evaluations
