Founder of Medicine Hands
Shayne is a licensed massage therapist and lifelong student of the body with a passion for helping people move better, hurt less, and feel more connected to themselves. Her work blends therapeutic bodywork with grounded, person-centered care that focuses on the body as a whole system rather than just isolated symptoms.
While Shayne works with a wide range of therapeutic techniques, her primary passion and area of focus is abdominal and core-centered bodywork. She believes the belly is one of the most overlooked and emotionally guarded areas of the body — often holding tension tied to stress, posture, digestion, breathing patterns, trauma, nervous system dysregulation, and chronic pain. Through gentle, intentional abdominal work, she helps clients reconnect with their core, improve body awareness, support digestion and mobility, and create a deeper sense of safety within the body itself.
Her sessions may incorporate deep tissue massage, cupping, lymphatic techniques, myofascial release, movement practices, breathwork, and nervous system-focused care depending on the needs of the individual. No two bodies are the same, and no two sessions should be either.
Shayne’s approach is rooted in the belief that hands-on care is one of humanity’s oldest forms of medicine. Through intentional touch, movement, breath, and presence, she aims to create a space where clients can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and begin supporting healing from the inside out.
Outside of the treatment room, Shayne is constantly continuing her education and studying new approaches to bodywork, abdominal therapy, movement, and holistic wellness. Whether someone comes in seeking pain relief, mobility support, nervous system regulation, digestive support, or simply a moment to breathe, her goal is always the same: to help people feel more at home in their bodies.
