Airbrush Tanning Tips
Before You Glow
- Exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment for smooth, even color. This includes pedicure or manicure services!
- Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior.
- Skip lotions, oils, deodorant, makeup, and perfume on tanning day.
- Wear loose, dark clothing and sandals for the ride home.
After You Glow
- Avoid water, sweat, and tight clothing during development time.
- Rinse with lukewarm water only for your first shower.
- Pat dry—no scrubbing allowed.
- Moisturize daily to keep your glow fresh and flawless.

There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on any products or services.
We love the GLOW life as much as you do! But our beach vibes do not include the beach - so keep clothing appropriate throughout the salon unless you are in a private treatment room.
For UV, red light, or spray tanning, please undress to your comfort level while in the private room. See Red Light FAQs for more info on red light therapy.
To ensure the safety and privacy of our clients, only one individual is permitted in the spray tanning or UV tanning room during each session. No children are allowed in our UV Tanning rooms.
State law prohibits anyone under the age of 18 from using our tanning beds without parental consent. You must show I.D. at sign-in.
We stand behind our spray tans! Our spray tans come with a 24-hour guarantee. Please notify the front desk within 24 hours if you have any issues. A technician will evaluate your tan and offer a resolution. Please note, we do not offer refunds.
Our final tanning appointments for both UV beds are as follows:
Tuesday - Saturday at 6:35 PM and on Sunday at 2:35 pm. We are closed on Mondays. We cannot accommodate tanning services or walk-in customers after these times.
Please call if you're running late. If you're more than 7 minutes late, you will need to reschedule.
At Southern Sun, tanning packages and deals are intended for individual use only. Sharing or splitting packages with others is prohibited unless indicated by your package details. Each customer is limited to one package. Each package is for the exclusive use of one person.
Profile sharing is not permitted. You will receive a unique profile upon booking.
Please note that all tanning packages have an expiration date. Any unused services within your package, even after expiration, cannot be refunded. All packages require a debit or credit card to be on file. There is no contract, you can cancel anytime but coming in the store - in person - to cancel. Monthly drafts for packages must be canceled 5 business days before your schedule draft or Southern Sun will not be responsible for any fees or payments collected.
Coupons cannot be combined with any other offers or daily deals. All coupons must be original - no copies.
Southern Sun Tanning only offers in-store gift certificates. You may purchase a gift certificate at our front desk. Gift certificates cannot be used for online purchases. Please visit our store to redeem your gift certificate. It is not possible to refund the purchase of a gift certificate. Gift certificates cannot be applied to monthly subscriptions. If the sale is worth more than the value of the card, customers can pay for the remaining cost by using regular payment methods.
