Some spaces just feel different the moment you walk in. That's not an accident, that's intention.

Alter'D Salon was founded in 2021 by Jennifer DeLaney with a singular purpose: to create a space where beauty industry professionals could show up fully; polished, creative, and free to do their best work, and where clients felt at home from the moment they walked through the door.

Jennifer saw a gap in the industry. Too many salons felt chaotic, inconsistent, or creatively stifling. She believed stylists environment built on integrity, where education never stops and creativity is celebrated.

As of 2025, Alter'D moved across the river from Downtown Augusta to North Augusta, is evolving into a boutique collective where a curated group of educator stylists who bring their own artistry together under one roof, each one committed to growing their craft alongside their clients.

This is a salon built for people who care, stylists who treat the space like their own, and clients who trust us with more than just their hair.
