My name is Eva DiGioia. Here is my story.
Immediately after graduating high school, I went off to college at University of Massachusetts - Boston, where I spent 6 months studying Psychology. I ended up hating it. I didn't like living in the city or the thought of racking up thousands of dollars in debt for education that didn't cater to any of my interests. Truthfully, there were a million other options to regain some of my confidence in getting
There was one thing I liked about college, and it was spending my free time educating myself and practicing tattooing. As a kid growing up, I spent every moment creating artwork. My Dad developed my creative mind through experimenting with painting, sculptures, different drawing styles, and even music. I knew college wasn't cut out for me, so I dropped out. Feeling lost, I decided to fall back on what I did best and create beautiful pieces of artwork.
As I started dabbling with tattooing, I realized I had found my passion. With my background in creating artwork traditionally and digitally, tattooing came easy to me.
There wasn't one thing I loved more than creating a piece of art and transforming it into permanent body art. I was noticed by the incredible Lexi Agbey, owner of Max Potential Studio, who saw my work and was immediately impressed. She asked me if I would like to become the first ever tattoo artist at Max Potential. With the unconditional love and support from my Mom, my family and friends, I took the opportunity Lexi gave me, joined the team as an apprentice, and continued my education and practice working out of the beautiful studio I was provided with.
.
As I continued to work with tattooing, I found myself loving one style - Fine Line. I loved the complex simplicity of this style, how thin the lines are but how much detail can go into each piece. Of course, I do not limit myself to one style. I also enjoy creating Realism, Handwriting, and even American Traditional style tattoos!
To me, the art of tattooing is very sacred. You will forever represent my passion for tattooing, and I never forget the importance of our session. Every tattoo is a learning opportunity for me and every day I am honing my skills. No tattoo is to small. They all hold meaning and I am very conscious of it.
Because of my ever-growing passion for tattooing, every session includes a thorough consultation to make sure we are a good fit before ink even enters the skin. Being able to turn your dreams into a reality is my passion. If you feel that your vision meets my style, please contact me so we can work together to make your vision a piece of art for your personal canvas.
Thank you.
