Botched Ink® Lightening & Removal Treatments

Safe, Effective Tattoo Lightening for Brows

We’ve all seen it—or maybe you’re living it: overdone, discolored, or just plain crooked brows. Whether it's pigment migration, oversaturated pigment, bad shape, outdated color, or a trend you regret, we’ve got good news. Botched Ink® saline tattoo removal is your go-to solution for safe, non-laser correction that works with your skin, not against it.

❌ Why NOT Laser First?

We get it—laser tattoo removal is everywhere, and it sounds like a quick fix. But when it comes to cosmetic brow pigment, laser should not be your first move. Here’s why:

  1. Laser can turn pigment gray or black. Many brow pigments (especially those with iron oxide or titanium dioxide) oxidize under laser and get darker—so instead of fading, they actually become more visible.
  2. It can push pigment deeper into the skin. Laser works great on carbon black, but those reds, oranges, pinks, and whites used in PMU? They’re stubborn—and laser can drive them deeper into the dermis, making it harder (or sometimes impossible) to remove them later.
  3. Hair loss is real. Lasering brow areas puts those tiny, fragile follicles at risk. And let’s be honest—most clients are trying to grow their brows, not zap them into oblivion.
  4. Color limitations + scar risk. Lasers target dark pigments best, but cosmetic pigments are complex mixes. Repeated laser sessions on your face can increase the chance of scarring or skin texture changes.

So When Is Laser Helpful?

After Botched Ink® has done its job. Once we’ve lifted the problematic pigments—reds, oranges, and grays—and all that’s left is carbon black deep in the skin, that’s when laser becomes a smart, effective next step.

  1. Think of Botched Ink® as the precision prep work that clears the path—then if needed, laser can step in to finish off those last black pigment particles.

Bottom line? Laser is great for body ink—but cosmetic brow pigment is a whole different beast. You need a removal method designed for the face first , not attacking it with heavy-duty tattoo gun.

✅ Why Choose Botched Ink® Instead?

Botched Ink® is a gentle, saline-based lightening treatment that lifts unwanted pigment out of the skin gradually and safely. It’s made specifically for cosmetic tattoo pigment—think microblading, powder brows, old PMU disasters—not body ink.

🔍 Benefits of Botched Ink®:

  1. Targeted pigment lifting without damaging brow hair or skin structure
  2. Safe for all skin types and tones
  3. Minimal scarring risk when performed by a trained pro (hi, that’s us 👋)
  4. Removes a wide range of colors, even those tricky reds and grays
  5. Boosts skin health—Botched Ink has healing benefits too!

How It Works

During a Botched Ink® session, we gently open the skin (similar to microblading), then implant a specialized saline solution that draws out the pigment over time. The skin pushes the pigment to the surface and exfoliates it away as it heals—no lasers, no heat, no trauma.

Most clients need a series of treatments for optimal results. We space them out for proper healing, giving your skin time to recover and reveal the lifted pigment layer by layer.

✔️ You’ve tried laser removal and didn’t get results—or had a bad reaction

⚠️ Not a candidate? If you’ve had recent laser treatment, we’ll need to wait a bit before starting saline lightening. Let’s book a consultation and map out the safest path forward.
