At Beleza by Jessica, I utilize the latest and most efficient laser device, the Venus Epileve, which employs diode laser technology. I selected this machine over other industry brands due to its user-friendly interface and its exceptional efficiency across a wide range of hair and skin types.
The Venus Epileve is designed to be safe and effective for all skin types, as classified by the Fitzpatrick scale. This scale ranges from Type I (very fair skin) to Type VI (very dark skin), and the Venus Epileve's advanced technology allows for precise targeting of hair follicles without damaging surrounding skin. The built-in cooling system ensures that treatments are painless and comfortable, minimizing any risk of skin irritation or damage.

How does the process work?

Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a diode laser to remove unwanted hair, either long-term or, for some individuals, permanently. The laser emits light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair, targeting the hair follicles. This targeted light damages the hair follicles, causing the hair to shed and inhibiting or delaying future hair growth.
Upon your arrival, you'll be asked to fill out a few forms and a questionnaire. This helps us determine your hair and skin type for optimal treatment. Once the paperwork is complete, depending on the treatment area, you will be given privacy to undress and cover yourself with a towel. I will knock before reentering to ensure your comfort. I will then set up the machine settings customized specifically for you, and your session will begin!
To protect our eyes from the laser's pulse light, both you and I will wear protective laser filter glasses. I will use a spatula applicator to apply a cooling gel, which might feel cold. Then, I will use the machine's handheld device, moving it in an up-and-down motion over the treatment area. This is when your journey to being hair-free starts! While some clients may experience a light tingling sensation, the process is painless.
