Where do we start? About us... the most common question we get asked is, "How can you both work together?" The answer is simple. CJ and I although we've been married 12 years, we are the best of friends first. It's easy to work with someone you communicate well with and as a husband and wife in the beauty industry, luckily we are polar opposites. 

As a color and extension specialist the strengths I bring are completely different than CJ's men's barbering, advance cutting techniques and texture services. We definitely compliment each other in the salon. 

When I thought about what I wanted to be when I "grew up", I thought I wanted to be a nurse, what an epic fail! While in college,

I couldn't handle bodily fluids! .. After time and consideration I knew I still wanted to help people; wanted to make you feel beautiful, confident and you never know what someone is going through in their life and I have the ability to change someone's circumstances. I love that part, when you look good you feel good! I live for the before and after! I love when you see yourself the way I see you, beautiful!

As a second career for CJ, he spent the last 13 years providing therapeutic services to the seriously mentally ill as a Suicide Prevention Specialist. As time progressed he noticed and experienced a stigma in health wellness when it came to treatment... most complained of feeling depressed due to physical appearance. What better way to bridge the gap between therapy and hairstyling. Hairstylists are already therapists! With CJ, you get a two for one! His therapeutic approach makes him easy to talk to and of course an amazing shampoo experience you can't miss!!
