BOOKING: To book an appointment you can book online with Vagaro, find booking links under the “services” tab on our website. You can also call or text 587-370-8655 to book, or send a direct message to the studio, or your service provider on social media.
PAYMENT: Payments are taken at the end of service. We accept card payments (interac debit, visa, mastercard) via reader, or e-transfer. Cash is also accepted but we do not carry change.
ARRIVAL (Monroe Studios): Cashmere & Clay Salon Studio is located in room 1018 of Monroe Studios. When you arrive at the Monroe building, Cashmere & Clay is straight to the left from the front directory. If the C&C door is cracked open you can come right to the studio, we are ready for you! If there is another guest in the studio and the door is closed, please wait in the beautiful lobby, your service provider will come get you when they are ready to begin your appointment.
GRATUITY: Leaving a gratuity or tip for your service provider is OPTIONAL at Cashmere and Clay Salon Studio. Cash tips are accepted, or if you would like to leave a tip on card, let your provider know before they begin processing your payment.
LATE POLICY: Please be sure to arrive on time for your appointment(s). Arriving late may result in your appointment being changed, or cancelled/rescheduled. We do allow a 10 minute grace-period; within this period, appointments can proceed as scheduled, a courtesy call/text to let us know you are running behind but on the way is appreciated. Please call or text 587-370-8655 if you know you will be more than 5-10 minutes late for your appointment so we can best advise you on whether accommodations can be made, or if your appointment will need to be rescheduled/cancelled.
ILLNESS POLICY: Unfortunately we all get sick occasionally, please do not come to your appointment sick. If you are ill, please call/text 587-370-8655 to cancel your appointment! Please try to give as much notice as possible when feeling under the weather. We will happily reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling better.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy: Every client is important to us, and we understand that things may come up that cause you to miss your appointment. We kindly request that you cancel or reschedule your appointment with as much notice as possible (24hrs+). Please understand that when you create an appointment we have blocked out our schedule to give you the time and attention you deserve. With enough notice on a cancelled/rescheduled appointment we are hopefully able to offer the appointment opportunity to another guest. Failure to give notice or “no-showing” any (2) appointments will result in a ban from booking further appointments without prepayment.
Age Requirements: Cashmere & Clay Salon Studio can accommodate appointment experiences for all ages. However, in order to protect the safety of all guests and maintain a luxurious experience within the studio, there are some considerations. No chemical services (hair colour/ perm) will be performed on any person(s) under the age of 10 years old. Any person(s) under the age of 10, need to be accompanied to their appointment by an adult.
Accompaniment/Kids: While we prefer to focus solely on you during your service, if wanted/needed, there is room in the studio for any guest to bring one person to accompany them. No more than one extra person will be permitted to join a guest for their appointment. Please try not to bring your child/children to your appointment. We hope your appointment can be a time to relax and recharge. As much as we love your littles, taking time for child-minding can affect the flow of your appointment, or disturb other patrons of the building. (Mothers with infants excepted).
Food and Drink: Because of the private environment of the Studio Space, you are welcome to bring food and/or drink to your appointment. Be aware that your appointment will need to proceed as usual for your stylist's schedule regardless of food or drink. Please be conscious of bringing overly fragrant food into the space that might affect the smell of the studio for extended periods.
Pets: We absolutely love hearing about your fur-babies. However, unless they are service-animals, pets are not permitted in the Monroe Studios building.
Right-to-Refuse: Cashmere & Clay Salon Studio and it’s service providers, reserve the right to refuse service at any time for any reason. In general refusal will be executed if the provider feels that there are health, wellness, or safety concerns, regarding either themselves or the guest. This can include but is not limited to, contractible conditions or illnesses, lice, harassment/abuse, disruption, etc.
Privacy Policy: Cashmere & Clay Salon Studio reserves the right to collect and store your personal information.This information includes, but is not limited to, appointment history, payment details, contact information, and/or health concerns. Any collected information is securely stored in our salon database. Only your service provider, salon owners, and necessary contractors have access to your information, it will not be misused, sold, or shared outside of the organization.
