Lash Appointment Prep Tips

  1. Avoid wearing waterproof mascara two days prior to your appointment.
  2. Stop using growth serum 48 hours prior to your lash appointment.
  3. Arrive to your appointment on time. The longer we have with you, the fuller your lashes will be.
  4. Arrive with clean lashes. The lash glue cannot guarantee the results or retention of your eyelash extensions if you arrive at your appointment with makeup on your lid or eyelashes. You will be asked to cleanse them again when you arrive to make sure that we get the best adherence and retention.
  5. Avoid that second cup of caffeine or energy drink prior to your appointment. It is important that your eyes remain calm during your appointment.
  6. Please remove contact lenses before your lash appointment. Bring you contact lense case.
  7. If you spray tan, ensure there is no residual product on your lashes.
  8. Free removals are provided if you have an allergic reaction, as service has already been provided, there will be no refund. I highly recommend scheduling a patch test if you are highly sensitiv or it is your first time receiving lash service.

Aftercare

Do:

  1. Gently pat your lashes dry if they get wet, instead of rubbing.
  2. Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction while sleeping.
  3. Keep hair sprays, perfumes, or face mists away from your lashes.
  4. Schedule regular fills (every 2–3 weeks) to maintain fullness.
  5. If a lash gets bent, gently brush it back into place with your spoolie.
  6. Brush your lashes regularly with your spoolie (you’ll receive a new one at every fill).
  7. Clean your lashes every 3–4 days with a gentle, lash-safe cleanser. Lashes collect dirt and oil just like hair β€” keep them fresh and crust-free! 😜

Avoid:

  1. Using eyelash curlers on extensions (can damage both your natural and extended lashes).
  2. Saunas or steam rooms for long periods immediately after your appointment.
  3. Exposing lashes to excessive heat (like ovens or direct hair dryer heat).
  4. Using exfoliating scrubs or strong acids near the eye area.
  5. Picking, rubbing, or playing with extensions, even if they feel itchy.
  6. Getting lashes wet within 24 hours after your appointment.
  7. Using oil-based cleansers or skincare around the eye area.
  8. Applying mascara on extensions.
  9. Sleeping on your face.

Fill Guide & Retention Tips

FILL GUIDE

  1. Regular Fills β€” Recommended every 2–3 weeks with 40–50% retention.
  2. Extended Fills β€” For clients returning after 4+ weeks who still have 20–30% retention, or for those returning anytime with 20–30% of lashes remaining. A full set is not required.
  3. Full Set β€” Required if less than 20% of lashes remain.

LASH RETENTION TIPS

Each person’s lash cycle is unique! You may naturally shed 1–5 lashes per day, so some fills may require more lashes than others.

FACTORS THAT CAN AFFECT RETENTION:

  1. Weather: Wind can make eyes water, while heat and humidity may weaken the bond.
  2. Lifestyle: Sweat from workouts or hot yoga can affect retention.
  3. Other Factors: Oily skin, baking, or cigarette smoke β€” extreme heat can cause extensions to curl or lose shape.

WHEN TO BE CONCERNED

  1. Extensions are falling off without a natural lash attached at a fast pace.
  2. Lashes are falling in clumps.
  3. Multiple natural lashes are attached to a single extension.

OPTIONAL (Highly Recommended):

Use a lash serum like GrandeLash-MD or Latisse to encourage growth and strengthen natural lashes. While I always prioritize lash health, serums can help promote thicker, faster-growing lashes β€” especially beneficial for those with finer lashes (like me!).
