Lash extensions are individual fibers applied one-by-one to your natural lashes, adding length, curl, and fullness without the need for daily mascara or curling. Using a range of diameters, curls, and fan styles, each set is fully customized to your natural lash health and desired look — from soft and natural to full glam.
Who it’s for: Anyone who wants low-maintenance, wake-up-ready lashes. Great for clients who wear makeup daily and want to cut a step out of their routine, as well as clients with sparse or short lashes looking for a natural boost. Also a favorite for special occasions, vacations, or anyone who just wants their eyes to pop without extra effort.
Lash fills are maintenance appointments where grown-out extensions are removed and replaced with new ones — keeping your lash line full, fresh, and your natural lashes healthy.
Why lashes get “wonky”
Extensions are placed to sit symmetrically against your lash line. As your natural lashes grow, they shift back to their own direction — that’s what causes the uneven, wonky look, no matter how much you brush.
What your tech sees that you don’t
Your lashes might look full with your eyes open, but underneath there’s regrowth and gaps. Extensions sitting too far from the base can cause breakage — staying on top of fills prevents irritation and protects your natural lashes.
When to book
• Everyone’s lash cycle is different (hormones, supplements, weather, lifestyle, etc.)
• General rule: come in every 2–3.5 weeks
• This works as long as your retention is at 40–50%
• Below that? Time for a Full Set instead
How to get the best fill
Once old extensions are removed, your tech has to fill in the rest within your appointment window. Coming in with good retention and clean lashes means your best possible fill.
Regular Fill
2–3.5 weeks since your last appointment, with 40–50% of your extensions remaining. This is your standard maintenance fill to keep your set fresh and full.
Mini Fill
Within 7 days of your last appointment. A quick touch-up where minimal lashes are removed — perfect for filling in small gaps caused by lifestyle, activities, tears, or oily skin.
Foreign Fill
For clients coming from a different lash tech, booked within the Regular Fill timeframe (2–3.5 weeks).
What has changed with my menu?
After months of assessing my clients’ lashes, I’ve made the decision to remove Extended Fills.
Extended Fills were designed for the 4-week mark with 20–30% retention, but I noticed increased breakage from overgrown lashes. Removing them often left clients needing close to a Full Set — which didn’t allow me to give my best work the time and precision it deserves.
Additionally, Regular Fills have been extended from 2–3 weeks to 2–3.5 weeks, still allowing flexibility for clients to book their fills on a timely basis.
Do
• Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours after your appointment.
• Clean your lashes daily using a lash bath to remove makeup, or every 3–4 days with a gentle, lash-safe cleanser — lashes collect dirt and oil just like hair, so keep them fresh and crust-free.
• Brush your lashes regularly with your spoolie (you’ll get a new one at every fill). This removes dirt, keeps lashes from sticking together, and trains them to grow straight outward — especially helpful for naturally wonky lashes.
• Gently pat lashes dry if they get wet, instead of rubbing.
• Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction while sleeping.
• If a lash gets bent, gently brush it back into place with your spoolie.
• Schedule regular fills every 2–3.5 weeks to maintain fullness.
• Keep hairspray, perfume, and face mists away from your lashes.
Avoid
• Getting lashes wet within 24 hours of your appointment.
• Applying mascara on extensions.
• Using eyelash curlers on extensions — this can damage both natural and extended lashes.
• Using oil-based cleansers, skincare, or micellar water around the eye area. Micellar water breaks down lash glue and can cause bad retention.
• Using exfoliating scrubs or strong acids near the eye area.
• Picking, rubbing, or playing with extensions, even if they feel itchy.
• Sleeping on your face.
• Exposing lashes to excessive heat (ovens, direct hair dryer heat, smoking).
• Saunas or steam rooms for long periods right after your appointment.
Optional: Lash Serums
I highly recommend using a lash serum, like Babe Original, GrandeLash-MD, or Latisse. While I do my best to keep your lashes healthy, serums encourage faster growth and thickness, which can help with breakage — especially if you have finer lashes (like me!). I currently sell Babe Original and GrandeLash-MD at a discount — text or DM me on my socials to schedule a purchase.
