About Dr. Thrower
Meet Dr. Thrower, the mastermind behind not only Dr.Thrower's Medspa & Aesthetics, but Dermatology as well. An expert in his craft, he specializes in ethnic skin and hair conditions, opening his private practice more than 25 years ago. Following that, he meticulously crafted a line of skincare products tailored to various skin types, authored three insightful books on skincare and hair care with a focus on diverse skin, and has held the esteemed role of a team physician for the NBA's Miami Heat since 1992. With a legacy spanning over 25 years, Dr. Thrower continues to shape the fields of dermatology and aesthetics, seamlessly blending expertise, innovation, and a passion for personalized care.
In the 90s, there was a noticeable absence of skincare options catering to diverse tones. Recognizing this gap, Dr. Thrower pioneered the development of the inaugural skincare system designed to specifically target the key concerns of diverse skin tones, addressing issues such as acne and discoloration, as well as combating dryness and irritation.
