Is Botox safe?

Yes when done by an experienced provider. The most common side effects are bruising, pain at injection site, headache, and swelling.

How much does Botox cost?

This can vary widely with number of units required to effectively reduce wrinkles. Treating one area could be as low as $180. This will be discussed during your consultation and you can decide which areas you would like treated.

How long does Botox last?

Botox treatments can take 5 to 14 days to take full effect. It typically last 3 to 4 months. 

Is it painful to get Botox injections?

Most people describe it as a small pinch or sting that resolves quickly after injection. We use small needles and new needles for each area treated to reduce discomfort.

How does Botox work?

It blocks chemical signals from nerves that cause muscles to contract.

Is Botox dangerous? 

No. Botox is botulinum Toxin Type A that was approved for therapeutic use by the FDA in 1989. 

Will fillers make me look fake?

Fillers should be placed in areas where the aging fat pads of the face have diminished. We are conservative and do not “overfill” our clients resulting in a natural younger look.

How long do dermal fillers last?

Dermal fillers last 6 to 24 months depending on the type of filler used, where it is placed, and how fast your body metabolizes the filler.

Is it painful to have dermal fillers injected?

There is some pain when injecting but we use small needles and apply a topical analgesic cream prior to injecting.
