My Story
I grew up in the small town of Battle Creek, Nebraska, surrounded by a lot of love—and four older sisters who definitely sparked my early obsession with all things beauty. From a young age, I was drawn to the world of esthetics and makeup, always experimenting and learning whenever I could.
In 2019, I officially started doing bridal makeup, and it quickly became more than just a passion—it felt like a perfect fit, something that truly sparked joy and purpose in my life. After graduating high school, I spent four years earning my degree in Business and began working in corporate America in 2021. For a while, I balanced my professional career with my love for beauty, squeezing in bridal makeup jobs on weekends and evenings.
By the end of 2024, I knew it was time to follow my heart. I made the decision to step away from the corporate world and pursue esthetics and makeup full-time—a leap that felt both terrifying and completely right.
Now, I get to combine my love for skincare and makeup with my passion for making people feel confident and radiant. Whether I’m helping a bride get ready for the biggest day of her life or providing a relaxing treatment in the studio, I feel incredibly grateful to do what I love every single day.
My Education
I received my formal training in skincare and esthetics at The Aesthetics Academy, where I earned my diploma and specialized certifications in dermaplaning and microneedling. My education provided me with a strong foundation in both traditional and advanced skincare techniques, ensuring I deliver safe, effective, and customized treatments for every client. In addition to my esthetics background, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Nebraska Omaha, which has equipped me with the tools to run a professional, client-focused studio with an emphasis on quality and care.
My Inspiration
My father has always been my greatest inspiration. He dedicated his life to creating and teaching sustainable farming practices, driven by a deep love for the earth that he wanted to share with the world. As a proud "girl dad," he was compassionate, patient, and wise—always encouraging me to chase my dreams. I lovingly referred to him as my biggest fan.
In 2021, my father was diagnosed with ALS, and in 2022, his journey came to an end. Though he's no longer with me, his spirit lives on every day in my heart. I attribute much of my passion and success to him, as his example continues to guide me.
The colors of Encompass Beauty Co. include various shades of green, a tribute to his profound connection with the earth. His influence continues to inspire not only the work I do but also the way I approach life—with purpose, love, and a deep respect for the world around us.
