COMMON CONDITIONS treated with rehabilitation

Orthopedic conditions, specific joint/muscle or tendon injuries, geriatric care, cardiopulmonary rehabiliation, neurologic disease, post-surgical rehabilitation, post trauma or ICU stay rehabiliation along with nutritional disorders and weight management are all common needs for rehabilation treatments

Orthopedic Conditions

TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy), Stifle surgery, FHO (femoral head and neck osteotomy), hip surgery, patella luxation, traumatic limb injuries and/or amputations

Geriatric care

All pets have high risk osteoarthrits, which untreated leads to muscle atrophy and worsening wasting beyond the normal muscle loss with aging. Cognitive disorder, other chronic progressive diseases such as Cushings, diabetes or thyroid disorders can also contribute to faster decline.  We can combat these changes with a proactive rehab plan.

Cardiopulmonay Rehabiliation

Most of our pets have comorbidites (more than one problem). As a rehab practicioner it is my job to coordinate multi-modal care that protects and promotes whole-body homeostasis and can help correct any weight or joint problems while inviting improved cardiac function with gentle rehab.
