FAQ's

Will it hurt?

Yes it will hurt because hairs are being pulled out but everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Taking an ibuprofen around 30 minutes before your appointment and following after care will help will the pain. Also, it gets easier when you stay consistent!

What should I do before my appointment?

Taking a shower to rinse off any lotions, sweat, or dirt from the area, drink plenty of water, exfoliate 3-4x a week, and hydrate the area being waxed with some type of body oil or serum.

When should I come back for my next appointment?

It is ideal to come back around 4 weeks to keep your hairs on a proper hair growth cycle. Hairs grow on a cycle and it takes about 2-4 waxing to have your hairs all coming up and staying up and the same time. CONSISTENCY IS KEY and over time it will help with the pain can cause the hairs to thin out.

What should I stay away from after the wax?

For just 24-48hrs after your appointment stay away from sweating, sitting in water (the ocean, jacuzzis, bathtubs), tight clothes on the waxed area, getting sunburnt, makeup (for face services), and sex (for brazilian, bikini full, and bikini line)

What aftercare products should I use?

People can use whatever they feel works for them but for the best result I recommend a body oil and a exfoliater.  The body oil can be any one that you choose as long as it is hydrating for your skin and hair follicles, unscented, and is non-comedogenic. For body exfoliaters it can vary more depending on how sensitive someone’s skin is and hair thickness. I prefer it to be unscented, non-comedogenic, and actually gets the dead skincells off so hair can come through the surface.

Do you have products I can purchase?

Yes I do! I carry the FUR brand in my suite! I sell this brand because of the quality of their products and that they do work. The are gynecologists and dermatologist tested, no parabens, phathalates, silicones, dimethicones, mineral oil, and menthol, formulated without artificial dyes and fragrances, and vegan and cruelty free! I also use these products personally and have tried all of them before selling them to customers.
