Healing Reiki Levels I & II Practitioner Training Syllabus

The purpose of Hands On Healing Reiki Levels I & II course is to train the student on how to perform a detailed Healing Reiki session using Reiki symbols and other energy tools. In this class you will receive information and have a detailed discussion on the history of Reiki, Dr. Usui and his teachings, what Reiki is, where it comes from, how to access it, and how to use it. We will go over safety protocols and boundaries. We will talk about practicing "the Reiki" way of life. Each student will have the opportunity to witness a live Reiki session as well as practice and receive a Reiki session with my guidance. You will have a written quiz on the topics discussed. The class will close with an attunement ceremony which will allow students to practice Reiki as a Reiki Practitioner Level II. 

Introduction

We will start with a discussion on what each student already knows about Reiki. We will go over what Reiki is, where it comes from, and how to use it. 

The History of Reiki

Read over and discuss the history of Reiki.

 Reiki 101

 Read and discuss the basics of Reiki.

Finding Your Path

Discussion about beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, and life choice. Go over the Reiki Principals.

 Boundaries

Discussion about boundaries, ethics, and scope of practice.

 Self - Protection

Discussion on how to protect your own energy.

Discuss Dr. Mikao Usui and His Creation of Usui Reiki Ryoko

Read and discuss. Highlight key points of his path led him to creating his healing technique.

Reiki Symbols

Discussion about Reiki symbols, how and when to use them, and what they mean.

Go over the three symbols commonly used in Usui Reiki for level II practitioners.

Understanding Your Aura

Read and Discuss auras. Learn how to cleanse your aura and as well as your clients.

Scanning

Learn and discuss scanning techniques.

Reiki Hand Positions and Placements

Learn and discuss the hand positions and placements and how to use them.

Learn how to use Reiki positions and placements on yourself.

Demonstration

Witness a Reiki Session.

On-Hands Guided Practice

Give and receive Reiki in practice sessions.

Quiz

The quiz will cover what has been discussed and practiced.

Attunement Ceremony

After demonstrating their understanding of the what Reiki is, how and when to use, and the principals students will receive their two attunements and a sworn in as a Reiki Practitioner Level II.
