Hi, my name is Kaz, nice to meet you! Originally from Melbourne, Australia, I left my homeland in search of adventure as a young adult and found Marin. Some five years after arriving I began beauty school, discovering a passion for creating beauty within the hair, and I now have over 30 years of experience.

My Vidal Sassoon training has taught me that thoughtful consultation is paramount to a great cut and style. I take time to consider a client's hair texture, density, face and body shape, lifestyle, and the amount of time they are willing to spend on styling, which guides me in tailoring cuts and coloring that enhances each client's best features. At the center of it all is the health and wellness of the client.

Since allowing my hair to silver, I've encouraged clients to do the same and explore new avenues to fall in love with their natural color. I specialize in coloring that mimics nature's beauty (think of the multi coloring of a child's hair). Personalizing color formulas lights up the 'magic potion' herbalist side of me.
