Why we don't install them
Lack of Durability -not suitable for long-term wear, unlike the long-lasting nature of K-tips and Ice Fusion.
Potential Visibility -clips can be seen if not well-placed, whereas K-tips and Ice Fusion are nearly invisible once applied.
Tape-In Extensions
Extensions that use an adhesive tape to attach to hair
Why we don't install them
Adhesive-related Issues -the tape can cause slippage and may degrade with exposure to oils, problems not faced with the keratin bonding of K-tips or the secure bonding of Ice Fusion.
Maintenance-heavy -frequent salon visits are required for maintenance, contrasting with the more enduring and lower maintenance K-tips and Ice Fusion.
Sew-In Extensions/Weaves
Extensions that are sewn into tightly braided rows of natural hair.
Why we don't install them
Scalp Stress -can cause discomfort and potential hair loss due to the weight and tension, a non-issue with the lightweight and evenly distributed application of K-tips and Ice Fusion.
Micro-Link Extensions
Extensions are attached using small beads without the use of adhesives or heat.
Why we don't install them
Risk of Hair Damage -the beads can slip or cause hair breakage if not secured properly, unlike the consistent and safe bonding offered by K-tips and Ice Fusion.
Frequent Adjustments Needed -unlike K-tips and Ice Fusion, which remain securely in place for months, micro-links require regular tightening, adding to their upkeep.
