My Story

I’m a passionate hairdresser, salon owner, and independent educator dedicated to helping everyday stylists feel confident with colour. I co-own Solstice Hair Studio in Prestwich, Manchester with my amazing business partner, Meg Piper, and I’m a VTCT-qualified Assessor in Hairdressing.

Through KF Hair Education, I deliver modern, commercial colour education that’s designed for busy stylists who want real results — fast, profitable, and beautiful.

Where It All Began

With over 27 years in the hair and beauty industry, my journey has been built on a deep love for colour and a calling to share what I’ve learned. I’ve always believed education should be inspiring, practical, and inclusive — whether you're still training or an experienced pro.

That’s why I started KF Hair Education: to bring stylists together, build confidence, and teach time-smart, high-impact colour techniques that actually work in a salon setting.
