FAQ's

What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup (also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation) is a gentle technique where pigment is implanted into the upper layers of the skin to enhance natural features such as brows, lips, or eyeliner.

At Luméya Aesthetics, we focus on creating soft, natural, and balanced results — never harsh or heavy.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Results typically last 1.5 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Touch-ups are recommended every 12–18 months to refresh the color and maintain the perfect shape.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe the sensation as mild or slightly ticklish.

We use professional, medical-grade numbing products to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.

Many clients even relax or fall asleep during the session!

What is the healing process like?

Healing takes about 7–10 days, with full color stabilization around 4–6 weeks.

You may notice mild flaking or light peeling — that’s completely normal.

We’ll provide you with detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth, clean healing process.

Can permanent makeup be customized to my features?

Absolutely! Every procedure at Luméya Aesthetics is fully personalized.

We design the shape, tone, and technique (powder, nano, combo, or shaded eyeliner) based on your facial structure, skin tone, and personal preferences.

Is it safe?

Yes — when performed by a certified and experienced artist.

At Luméya Aesthetics, we follow the highest hygiene and sterilization standards, using only premium, hypoallergenic pigments and single-use sterile needles.

Your safety and comfort are always our top priority.

Are you certified or trained professionally?

Yes 🌸 I’ve completed professional permanent makeup and medical micropigmentation training with top European and American artists.

Over the years, I’ve performed 2,000+ procedures and continue to attend advanced education programs to stay up to date with the latest techniques, safety standards, and aesthetic trends.

Do you have a license to perform permanent makeup in Texas?

Yes, absolutely ✅
