Shayne Jones

Licensed Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher

I believe the body tells a story long before pain ever speaks out loud. My work is centered around listening to that story through movement, tension patterns, breath, posture, and the nervous system itself. I’m constantly studying the body and continuing my education so I can better support the people who walk through my door — whether they need deep therapeutic work, nervous system support, rest, mobility, or simply a place to let their guard down for a while.

At Medicine Hands, I don’t believe healing should be boxed into “add-on services.” These aren’t extras — they’re the tools, skills, and traditions I’ve gathered over years of study and hands-on practice. Every session is customized to the person on the table that day. Your body gets what it needs, not what fits neatly into a menu category.

Below are some of the modalities and approaches I may weave into your session depending on your goals, comfort level, and what your body is asking for.

Advanced Cupping

Uses suction cups to lift and decompress tissue, helping improve circulation, reduce tension, and create space within stubborn or restricted areas of the body.

Lymphatic Work (General & Post-Op)

Gentle rhythmic techniques designed to support the lymphatic system, reduce swelling, encourage drainage, and assist the body’s natural healing processes.

Deep Tissue

Focused therapeutic work that targets deeper layers of muscle and fascia to relieve chronic tension, movement restrictions, and muscular holding patterns.

Acupressure & Reflexology

Pressure-based techniques rooted in traditional Eastern practices that work with mapped points throughout the body to encourage balance, relaxation, and nervous system regulation.

Relaxation Massage

Slow, grounding bodywork meant to calm the nervous system, ease stress, and help the body shift into a restorative state.

Belly Tending

Gentle abdominal work focused on digestion, breath, fascia, and the emotional tension many people unknowingly hold through the core and pelvis.

Prenatal & Postnatal Support

Supportive bodywork tailored to the changing needs of pregnancy and postpartum recovery, with a focus on comfort, circulation, and nervous system care.

Craniosacral Techniques

Subtle hands-on work that focuses on the head, spine, sacrum, and nervous system to encourage deep relaxation and release patterns of stress and restriction.

Reiki & Healing Touch

Energy-based practices intended to support relaxation, grounding, and the body’s natural healing response through intentional touch and presence.

Myofascial Release

Slow sustained pressure used to release fascial restrictions and improve mobility, alignment, and overall movement quality.

Yoga & Assisted Movement

Incorporating breath, stretching, mobility, and movement principles to help the body move more naturally and efficiently.

Magnet Therapy

The use of therapeutic magnets as a supportive wellness tool believed to encourage circulation, recovery, and energetic balance.

Herbology

Traditional plant-based wellness knowledge used to support the body through teas, salves, aromatics, and holistic lifestyle practices.

Chinese Stone Medicine

The use of warmed or cooled stones within bodywork traditions to encourage circulation, grounding, relaxation, and energetic balance throughout the body.

Body Mapping

A clinical and intuitive approach to understanding how your body holds stress, compensation patterns, pain, posture, and movement habits.
