SMS Terms & Conditions

1- SMS Consent Communication:

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2- Types of SMS Communications:

If you have consented to receive text messages from Mega Refunds Tax Group, you may receive messages related to the following:

  1. Appointment reminders: "Thank you for scheduling your appointment with Mega Refunds Tax Group. Please review the attached list and make sure you bring the necessary documents for your appointment. If you need us to print any documents for your appointment, please email them to mymegarefundclients@gmail.com. We ask that only individuals filing a return be present on the day of the appointment. AT THIS TIME WE ARE ACCEPTING PAYMENTS IN CASH If you have any other questions, please call us at 708-637-4136. We hope to see you soon and thank you for your business.
  2. Follow-up messages: In order to create your ID.me account with the IRS, you are required to provide the following: two primary identification documents, OR one primary and two secondary identification document. If you do not have the required documents, please contact our office so that we may give you alternate document options.
  3. Billing inquiries: Hi [Client's Name], this is Mega Refunds Tax Group . I’m following up regarding your outstanding balance of [$Amount]. You can contact us at 708-637-4136 Thank you!

3- Message Frequency:

Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week related to your [appointments/billing, etc.].

Example:

"Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 10 SMS messages per week regarding your appointments or account status."

4- Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

5- Opt-In Method:

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Mega Refunds Tax Group in the following ways:

  1. By filing out a paper form
  2. Once we have scheduled an appointment, you are given a paper form where you are given the option to opt-in to text messaging.

6- Opt-Out Method:

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

7- Help:

If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP. Or, you can get help directly from us at https://mysite.vagaro.com/megarefundstaxgroup.

Additional Options:

  1. If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.

8- Standard Messaging Disclosures:
