Pre-Care

1. Let it grow:

Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long (about the length of a grain of rice), typically 10–14 days of growth.

2. Exfoliate gently:

Exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before your appointment to help prevent ingrown hairs and ensure even hair removal. Avoid over-exfoliating or using harsh scrubs.

3. Clean, dry skin only:

Please arrive with clean, product-free skin—no lotions, oils, deodorants, or powders on the area to be sugared.

4. Avoid heat & activity before:

Do not tan or use saunas/hot tubs for 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid intense workouts the day of your service.

5. Minimize discomfort:

If you're sensitive, you may take a mild pain reliever (like ibuprofen) 30–60 minutes prior. Avoid caffeine and alcohol before your appointment—they can increase skin sensitivity.

Post Care

1. Avoid heat for 24–48 hours:

No hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, or tanning beds. Lukewarm showers are best.

2. Avoid sweating:

Refrain from heavy exercise, tight clothing, or anything that causes excessive friction in the treated area for at least 24 hours.

3. Hands off:

Avoid touching or scratching the area—your pores are open and bacteria can easily cause irritation or breakouts.

4. Exfoliate regularly (after 48 hours):

Begin gentle exfoliation 2–3 times per week to help prevent ingrown hairs. A dry brush, exfoliating mitt, or sugar scrub works well.

5. Moisturize daily:

Use a gentle, fragrance-free lotion or body oil to keep skin hydrated and healthy. Avoid pore-clogging products.

6. No waxing or shaving in between:

Sugaring results improve over time. Stay consistent with appointments every 4–6 weeks for best results and finer regrowth.
