This space is for my curly twins! Whether you're wavy, curly, or coily, I've created this page (and my studio!) to be a place where your natural texture feels seen, celebrated, and fully understood.
Growing up, I always felt misunderstood when it came to my curly hair. I've heard the classic "Yeah, I can cut curls" more times than I can count and left the salon with triangle hair and a lot of regret. That feeling stuck with me. Its what pushed me to take everything I've learned from doing my own hair and from being a stylist, to the next level by specializing in curls.
Every head of curls is different which is why why I take a personalized approach to every curly haircut. I cut curls dry 99% of the time so I can see exactly how your hair naturally lives, moves, and falls. This helps me understand what your curls are actually doing and allows me to create an intentional shape that works with your hair, not against it.
As a CurlCraft Certified stylist, I don't just offer curly haircuts, I specialize in curls. I'm constantly learning, growing, and deepening my understanding of textured hair so I can give you the best experience possible.
Most curly appointments take around two hours because I believe the consultation and education are just as important as the haircut itself. Whether you're struggling with styling, trying to understand your curl pattern, or simply looking for a shape that feels more like you, we'll take the time to talk through it together. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, understood, and confident before we do anything.

A Curly haircut is designed to enhance your natural texture, whether you're wavy, curly, or coily. I'm CurlCraft certified, which means I cut hair organically based on your individual curl or wave pattern, density, and how your hair lives naturally.
This type of haircut is especially great for low maintenance clients who want their curls to thrive even in between appointments. Since I started curly cutting, I've noticed clients I've seen now have curlier, healthier hair. That's the beauty of custom, intentional haircutting.
I cut hair dry and curl by curl, so I can shape your hair with precision. Each curl is considered and I focus on areas that sit too heavy, spots that need more volume, and anything that throws off the overall balance. At the same time, I'm removing all those dead ends and any weight holding your curls back.
It's a haircut that grows with you not against you, and it's tailored to make your curls feel like yours, just enhancec!
Please arrive with your hair styled how you normally wear it no buns, ponytails, clips, or hats. I want to see how your hair naturally sits so I can work with your real texture and shape!
Make sure your hair is dry (not wet or damp), and avoid any heavy product buildup, deep conditioner, or gels. A soft, light hold product is perfect, ideally day 1 or 2 hair. Personally, I love day 2 hair because it shows me how your curls settle and helps us figure out any areas you might struggle to restyle.
