We serve guests who want a peaceful, grounded, spiritually aligned approach to care — without pressure, noise, or overwhelm.

What makes Sanctuary different from other spas?

Sanctuary blends clinical skill with a ministry‑minded approach. Every service is:

  1. Trauma‑informed
  2. Rooted in nervous‑system regulation
  3. Gentle, slow, and intentional
  4. Designed to support healing of body, mind, and spirit
  5. Delivered in a quiet, private, non‑rushed environment

We do not upsell, push products, or use language that objectifies appearance. Our focus is restoration, not perfection.

Who is the $25 new‑client offer for?

This offer is for anyone visiting Sanctuary for the first time. It can be applied to any 60‑minute or longer service, including massage, facials, or movement‑based sessions.

How do I redeem the $25 off?

We will email your offer to you when you fill out a short client form. Simply book your first appointment online and apply the discount code at checkout or mention the offer when you arrive. It’s that easy.

What services can I choose from as a new client?

You may use the offer toward:

  1. Therapeutic or trauma‑informed massage
  2. Holistic or corrective facials
  3. Movement + meditation sessions
  4. Seasonal rituals
  5. Restorative wellness experiences

If you’re unsure what to choose, we can help you select the best fit for your goals.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your session begins with a calm, unhurried consultation so we can understand your needs, comfort level, and any trauma‑informed considerations. You remain in control of your session at all times — pressure, pace, communication, and boundaries are honored with care.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes. Our Wellness Club is $90/month and includes:

  1. A monthly spa credit that rolls over
  2. The ability to share credits with family
  3. 15% off services
  4. 10% off gift cards and packages

Many new clients join after their first visit because it’s the most affordable way to receive consistent care.

What is Movement Ministry?

Movement Ministry is Sanctuary’s wellness‑based ministry program offering Christ‑centered movement, meditation, breathwork, and community gatherings. It is not a church or pastoral program — it is a wellness ministry designed to support nervous‑system healing, spiritual grounding, and embodied prayer.

Can I book Movement Ministry sessions with the $25 offer?

Yes — the offer applies to any 60‑minute or longer session, including movement and meditation appointments.

Do you work with sensitive conditions or trauma histories?

Yes. Sanctuary specializes in trauma‑informed care. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you choose. Your comfort, safety, and agency guide the entire session.

What if I’m new to massage or facials?

You’re in the right place. Sanctuary is intentionally designed for guests who want a gentle, non‑intimidating introduction to wellness. We explain everything, move slowly, and check in with you throughout the session.

Do you use clean or natural products?

Yes. All skincare and bodywork products are intentionally selected for safety, purity, and sensory gentleness. We avoid harsh fragrances, aggressive actives, and anything that disrupts the nervous system.

Can I bring a friend or family member?

Absolutely. Many guests bring a spouse, friend, or teen for shared wellness time. You can also share your Wellness Club credits with them.

Children and high-needs adults must be supervised at all times. Our spa is not set up as a child-proof environment. We don't want anyone to get hurt. That would be a bad day for all of us.

What is your cancellation policy?

We honor your time and ours. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee, but we always handle emergencies with compassion. Please see our complete cancelation policy on our About page.

How do I get started?

Book your first session online, apply your $25 new‑client offer, and step into a space created for peace, restoration, and spiritual grounding.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) FAQ

unnamed image

A gentle, Upledger‑based approach to whole‑person healing.

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, light‑touch manual therapy that releases deep tensions in the body to relieve pain, improve function, and support whole‑body health. It uses about 5 grams of pressure — roughly the weight of a nickel — to ease restrictions in the tissues surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

Who developed CST?

CST was developed by Dr. John E. Upledger, an osteopathic physician and clinical researcher who spent years scientifically studying the craniosacral system at Michigan State University from 1975–1983.

How does CST work?

The craniosacral system includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord. Everyday stress, injury, or emotional strain can cause tissues to tighten and disrupt this system.

Using soft touch, a CST practitioner evaluates the rhythm of the craniosacral system and gently releases restrictions. This helps:

  1. Normalize the environment around the brain and spinal cord
  2. Improve nervous‑system function
  3. Support the body’s natural self‑healing processes

What conditions may CST help with?

According to the Upledger Institute, CST has been reported by clients to help relieve symptoms associated with:

  1. Headaches & migraines
  2. TMJ dysfunction
  3. Chronic fatigue
  4. Fibromyalgia
  5. Concussion symptoms
  6. Central nervous system disorders
  7. Stress & tension patterns
  8. Infant and childhood disorders
  9. Autism spectrum–related challenges
  10. Support during cancer treatment

What does a CST session feel like?

A session is quiet, slow, and deeply calming. You remain fully clothed on a comfortable table while the therapist uses light touch to “listen” to the body’s tension patterns. Many guests experience:

  1. Deep relaxation
  2. Gentle unwinding sensations
  3. Emotional release
  4. A sense of spaciousness or clarity

Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes.

Is CST safe if I have trauma, anxiety, or a sensitive nervous system?
  1. Yes. CST is widely used in trauma‑informed care because it works with the nervous system rather than against it. The touch is extremely gentle, and you remain in control of the pace, pressure, and boundaries at all times.
What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing. CST is performed fully clothed.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies by person. Some guests feel relief after one session; others benefit from a series to unwind long‑held tension patterns. CST supports the body’s natural healing rhythm, so progress is often cumulative.

Can CST be combined with massage or facial services?

Yes. CST blends beautifully with Sanctuary’s therapeutic massage, restorative facials, and movement‑based sessions. Many guests choose CST when they need a gentle, non‑overwhelming approach to healing.

Is CST evidence‑based?

CST is grounded in decades of clinical observation and research led by Dr. Upledger and his multidisciplinary team at Michigan State University, which confirmed the motion of cranial bones and the function of the craniosacral system.

What makes Upledger‑trained CST unique?

The Upledger Institute is the original training body for CST and has trained more than 125,000 therapists worldwide. Their curriculum blends science, anatomy, and hands‑on clinical skill.

Is CST right for me?

CST may be a good fit if you:

  1. Prefer gentle, non‑forceful therapies
  2. Are sensitive to pressure or touch
  3. Experience chronic tension, headaches, or stress
  4. Want a nervous‑system‑focused approach
  5. Are seeking trauma‑informed care

If you’re unsure, we can help you choose the right service for your goals.
