The UV LED lamp system I use is in a category completely of its own. It is the ONLY lamp on the market to achieve Risk Group 0 (RG0) classification, the highest possible safety rating under the international IEC 62471 photobiological safety standard.

In simple terms, RG0 means it has been certified as posing absolutely zero photobiological risk to the eye. No other LED UV lamp company used in lash services can say that. It has also been NIST approved, independently tested and verified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the gold standard for measurement accuracy in the United States. You are sitting under the safest, most rigorously tested lamp in the entire lash industry.

Although Opal Free has a 0.001% reaction rate, it is not allergy-free, it is hypoallergenic. Anyone can develop an allergy or a sensitivity to anything at anytime. We offer patch tests for clients to help identify early signs of sensitization, inflammatory responses, or true-allergy related symptoms before a full set is applied. By removing the chemical categories responsible for nearly all lash adhesive allergies, Opal Free dramatically reduces the risk of reactions in sensitive clients! Clients must wait 72 hours after the patch test before going forward with any lash extension services and will be monitored.

Traditional adhesives undergo a curing process that relies on the humidity and temperature of its environment and takes up to 72 hours to cure completely inside and out.

Opal Free Eliminates 99% of lash extension allergies 

Traditional adhesives are 90-99% of the chemical cyanoacrylate, a fast setting adhesive, Krazy Glue is 85% cyanoacrylate.

Opal Free has shrink wrapping technology! This means when it cures it shrinks by 30%, leaving your lashes feeling weightless! 

Traditional adhesive emits the fume formaldehyde while it undergoes its curing process (72 hours). Opal free emits water vapor and oxygen as a byproduct from it's curing process.

Opal Free has a biocompatible photo initiator in it. Meaning it is safely recognized by the body, is eye safe, extremely stable, and non-sensitizing.

Cyanoacrylate (CA) was discovered in 1942 by Dr. Harry Coover while researchers were attempting to develop clear plastics for military equipment during WW II and was eventually released as super glue commercially in 1958. By 1998 medical-grade CA received FDA approval for use as surgical skin adhesive which is the same core chemistry traditional lash adhesive were built on.
