PREP FOR THE PERFECT TAN
Proper prep = flawless results!
- Exfoliate 24 hours before your session. Avoid scrubbing immediately before—your skin needs natural amino acids on the surface of your skin to bind with the spray solution for a long-lasting, even tan.
 - Wear dark, loose clothing and flip-flops. If it’s rainy, light pants and a jacket work.
 - Skip makeup, lotion, and heavy deodorant—light deodorant is fine.
 - Use eXmitt pre-session (available in-store) to gently prep, moisturize, and balance your skin’s pH for the most even, radiant tan possible.
 - Do not get waxed or get a pedicure the same day as your tan. Do not have a healing sunburn, peeling skin will cause a blotchy result.

RELAX—YOUR GLOW IS WORKING
⚠️ Don’t panic! The color you see before your first rinse is just cosmetic bronzer—it washes off. Your real tan is still developing! (Please trust the process and follow our instructions.)
- Development Time:
 - Regular solution: 18–24 hours before your first warm water rinse.
 - Rapid solution: 1–3 hours—1 hour for a light tan, up to 3 hours for a dark tan. Waiting longer can affect your color.
 - First Rinse Tips:
 - Use warm water only. Gently rinse away excess bronzer with your hands.
 - Do not use soaps, washcloths, or loofahs—these can compromise your results.
 - Rapid Tan Note: Your color continues to darken for up to 24 hours after rinsing.

Tip: The initial bronzer may look dramatic—don’t worry! It’s temporary. Your beautiful, natural tan is still forming underneath.
