Meet Andrea

Hi, I’m Andrea Hughner, CLT/LE and the owner and treatment provider behind Sheer Beauty MedSpa. I’ve spent more than 15 years in the beauty industry, and today my work focuses on laser hair removal and microneedling for women and men in North Phoenix.

I created Sheer Beauty because I wanted treatments to feel professional without feeling intimidating. Laser hair removal can be especially personal, and many clients walk through my door feeling nervous, embarrassed or unsure of what to expect. My approach is simple: I’ll answer your questions, explain what we’re doing and why, and never rush you through an appointment or pressure you into a treatment you don’t need.

I also understand that our skin and hair can change throughout different stages of life. Hormones, age and other factors can affect hair growth and skin concerns, which is why I believe treatment plans should be individualized rather than one-size-fits-all. My goal is to give you realistic expectations and help you make informed decisions about your treatments.

Outside the treatment room, I’m an Army wife, proud mom of three military men, and Nana. When Uncle Sam allows it, I’m happiest spending time with my family, heading north to Flagstaff, eating entirely too much dark chocolate, and hanging out with my husband and our collection of fur-covered troublemakers.
