FAQ's

What facial should I start with?

If you're unsure about which facial to start with, I'm happy to share three beginner-friendly custom options.

- For those seeking a simple yet soothing experience that covers the essentials, the Mini Glow Facial is perfect for you.

- If you prefer a classic, relaxing facial that includes a massage for your face, neck, chest, and arms, consider the Relax and Restore Facial.

- Lastly, if you're looking for an extensive treatment that combines relaxation and deep cleansing, featuring modalities like LED Light therapy along with massages for the face, neck, chest, arms, and scalp, the Deluxe Glow Facial is the ideal choice.

I'm interested in Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is available as an ADD-ON to my custom facial treatments. After you choose from any of the three options: Mini Glow, Relax and Restore, or Deluxe Glow Facial, you can add this service for an additional $20.

Am I a good candidate for Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is suitable for all skin types except those with active acne, rosacea, or sensitized skin, as it may cause discomfort. It is also not recommended for individuals using dermatologist-prescribed skincare containing retinol, tretinoin, or benzoyl peroxide. Clients should discontinue these products at least two weeks prior to treatment.

How to prepare for a facial

It's simple! Please arrive in comfortable attire. I kindly request that you come without makeup if possible, although it’s not a requirement. Additionally, please refrain from using retinol, benzoyl peroxide, and any facial treatments for two weeks leading up to your appointment with me.

Facial Aftercare

1. Avoid Touching Your Face

  1. Keep your hands off your face to prevent transferring dirt or bacteria to freshly treated skin.

2. Skip Heavy Makeup

  1. Avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours to let your skin breathe and absorb the facial's benefits.

3. Use Gentle Products

  1. Stick to mild, non-irritating skincare for a couple of days. Avoid products with strong actives like retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or benzoyl peroxide.

4. Stay Hydrated

  1. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and help flush out toxins.

5. Protect Your Skin

  1. Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily, as your skin may be more sensitive to sunlight after a facial.

6. Avoid Heat and Sweating

  1. Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, or intense exercise for 24–48 hours to prevent irritation.

7. Be Gentle with Exfoliation

  1. Avoid exfoliating your skin for at least a week after the facial to prevent over-sensitization.
