About Us:
Dr. Joseph Scarcella DAT, ATC, CSCS
I attended Long Island University and received a Master of Science in Athletic Training. I also completed a Clinical Doctorate in Athletic Training. I am a Board Certified (BOC) Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) as well as a certified strength and conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I provide medical services to all types of active patients, besides athletes participating in sports. This includes injury prevention, wellness and education, clinical evaluation, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries. I am well versed and certified in various manual therapies to help reduce pain, facilitate healing, and restore function. In addition to manual therapy my goal is to treat the individual in a holistic and evidenced based approach looking at the whole body. I believe all individuals should be treated similar to high-level pro athletes when it comes to injuries, recovery and return to activity. My philosophy has always been treating people and focusing on the goals of the patient. I am passionate in working together to assist you in achieving your plan and goals toward recovery.
