I give a 10-minute grace period for all my Services, for shorter services such as brow or bikini services
I cannot guarantee that I will be able to complete the service and may need to reschedule as I may have another appointment after yours and want to respect each client's time.
Please text or leave me a voicemail that you are running behind a few minutes or past 10 minutes and I will see if time is available for your Appointment to be completed.
If you are late to any appointment past 10 minutes multiple times, you will be charged 100% of your booked service even if you do not make it to your appointment or are given a shorter appointment.
All booked appointments require a valid credit card on file, this information is secured thru Vagaro and you will not be charged unless a deposit is required for the service or my cancellation policy is being reinforced.
Booking an appointment with Sugar Savvy you will receive a consent form for all services which entails my studio policies that include my fees for No shows & same-day cancellations. You will be emailed an invoice if your card is not on file, and you will not be able to rebook any appointments until your invoice is paid first. As a small business owner, I want to provide the best service and be as accommodating to certain circumstances such as Covid exposure or being sick if you need to reschedule please text or email me within 24hrs before your appointment of being ill or not feeling well to avoid any fees.
I just started my menstrual cycle or near the tail end of my cycle is it still okay to get sugared (Brazilian/Bikini)?
Yes! it is completely safe and if you are nervous it is okay to wear a tampon or menstrual cup to your appointment! your skin might be more sensitive during this time for low pain tolerance clients but perfectly okay and can always be rescheduled 24hrs before your appointment.
Its my first time being sugared (Bikini/Brazilian ) , do I need to trim the area before coming in?
If you feel that the hair is past 1/4 of an inch or longer than a finger length (yes! your hair may get that long ), it is optional to trim at home 1 week before your booked appointment! if you can’t tell as long as the hair is pull-able/tug-able with your fingertips it should be fine and no extra trimming is needed! the longer hair can be more painful at first timers and would recommend waiting at least 3-4 weeks after shaving to come in.
I accept foreign fills from any other salon or esthetician, please book under the foreign fill service.
If your lashes are not suitable for fill I may offer a free removal with your full set and will be consulted at your appointment.
Foreign fills are booked out with enough for any situation whether you require less time or more time.
If there is not enough time for a new set that fits your schedule and only be charged for removal (if needed). We then can reschedule for a more suitable time and discount the price of a lash removal off your next full set booked.
I do not offer patch tests for online booking, you must reach out to me and I will make time in my schedule that is 3 days before your full set of lash extensions at no extra cost.
My lash Adhesive is Formaldehyde free but does contain cyanoacrylate which is used in instant glues found in household and industry products such as a liquid bandages, wig glue,Artificial nails.
Carbon black is also another ingredient in my Adhesive that common in eyeliner, and certain makeup products. Some people with sensitivities to carbon black may require a clear adhesive, if you only use clear lash extension adhesive please let me know so I may order it as I do not always carry it in stock.
Any Sugar Hair removal is safe during pregnancy even up to your due date! Your skin may be more sensitive and feel more intensified during the service but with little to no downtime!
Our sugar is all natural made of sugar, lemon & water, and is a safe and effective way to deal with the increase of hair growth during pregnancy. The chance of risking any infection is low since a new piece of sugar is used for each client compared to wax which can inhibit bacteria from Reusing applicators or “double dipping” them back into the wax. I also have an adjustable electric bed that can be lowered to get on and off comfortably and tilted up if the sitting position is needed during your service if it is difficult to lay down or is recommended to not lay flat on your back further along your pregnancy.
Lash Extensions are completely safe and can be applied laying down normally with extra pillows I carry in the studio and lay on your side and switch as needed in your pregnancy journey!
If laying down on the side for long periods of time is difficult we can also take water/snack breaks if needed, you can also opt for 1 week fills for shorter appointment times or split your full set into 2 days the options are endless to your own comfort! I have lashed many pregnant women and they love the ease of waking up and not worrying about makeup or fussing with eyeliner and mascara.
Lash Lifts are a great option for pregnancy clients that cannot upkeep with the maintenance of lash fills, Takes about an hour and a half, using a nontoxic(typically water or sugar based) glue to keep the lashes curled while processing and gives a [any maintenance (every 7-8 weeks). You can lay on your side with pillows, but your lashes may need more time to process compared to a non-pregnant person cause of the boost of hormones that makes your lashes thicker but it can be done! Lash tinting is semi-permanent & still possible and can be done safely but it is not FDA-approved for pregnancy or breastfeeding women
Please consult your healthcare provider before booking an appointment at your own risk. Lash tinting can be opted out if needed but if you're sensitive to dyes/hair dyes a patch test can be provided 3 days before your appointment for lash lift & tint.
