When a routine doctor’s visit led to immediate surgery, Ciara became determined to learn how to heal her skin and quickly found herself infuriated. How could she have spent nearly two decades in school, and no one told her how she could have prevented these precancerous cells from occurring?  

Feeling determined to help others get the information she never had, Ciara eagerly enrolled at Saddleback Beauty Academy and soon earned her esthetic license. Post-graduation, she was hired by Burke Williams Day Spa. During their extensive training, she became hopeful that there might be a solution to her persistent acne. 

It was then that she learned about Face Reality -- an award-winning, acne specialist clinic with a promising success rate of clearing skin in 90 days. Hungry for more education and excited for the opportunity to heal her acne and help others do the same, Ciara became a certified Acne Specialist and cleared her acne in 90 days. 

Having struggled with acne since her adolescence, she had an authentic understanding of how painful this skin condition is and how deeply it can affect one’s self image. With the desire to help other girls avoid the pain of acne and prevent skin cancer, she finally gathered her courage, started an Instagram TV channel, and shared her journey with the world. Along the way, she discovered her unique power to heal her skin that went much deeper than even the best skin-care products could.

A holistic self-care regimen, that suited her lifestyle, was the answer. And that’s the power she wants to share with other young girls: They have the power to take care of their skin, and their bodies and minds. All they need is an understanding of how internal factors (stress, digestion, etc.) and external factors (skin care products, air pollution, etc.) impact them and what they can do about it. 

It is her heart’s desire to share this gift with the world. The gift of power. The gift knowledge. The gift of learning to love oneself through the journey and celebrate every new layer of healing.
