Late Cancellations & No-Show Policy


Your appointment time is reserved just for you. In order to provide the best service to all of our clients, we have implemented the following policy:


Late Cancellations:

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled time may result in a charge of 50% of the service fee.

No-Shows:

If you miss your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged 100% of the service fee. This policy is in place to respect the time and commitment of both the esthetician and other clients waiting for appointments.

Late Arrivals:

If you arrive late to your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate the remaining time. However, your service may be shortened to avoid affecting the next client, and full-service fees will still apply. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late for their scheduled appointment will have their appointment cancelled and will be charged the full amount for the service. This policy ensures that all clients receive the complete attention and time they deserve, and that our schedule runs smoothly.


We understand that life happens, and we do our best to be accommodating. However, this policy helps ensure that our time is used effectively and fairly. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!






Refund Policy for Skincare Products and Services



At Talia Cara Esthetics, LLC, we are committed to providing high-quality skincare products that support your beauty and wellness needs. However, due to the nature of our products and services, we have the following refund policy in place:


No Refunds on Services Rendered:

Please note that all services rendered, including skincare treatments and other esthetic services, are non-refundable.


Final Sale:

All skincare product purchases are final sale and are non-refundable once opened or used, due to hygiene and safety regulations.


Unopened Products:

We gladly accept returns of unopened and unused skincare products within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in their original packaging and accompanied by a valid receipt. A store credit or exchange will be issued for eligible returns.


Damaged or Defective Products:

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of purchase. We will gladly offer an exchange or store credit upon inspection of the product.


Non-Returnable Items:

Custom or personalized products, including those specially ordered for a client, are non-returnable unless they are defective.

Zero Tolerance Policy for Inappropriate and Abusive Behavior, Including Sexual Misconduct/Harassment


At Talia Cara Esthetics, LLC, we are dedicated to maintaining a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all clients and staff. To ensure this, we have a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of inappropriate, abusive, or harassing behavior, including sexual misconduct.


Policy Guidelines:


Inappropriate Behavior:

Any inappropriate behavior, such as suggestive remarks, unwelcome advances, lewd comments, or unwanted physical contact, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. A session will not be conducted if the client is intoxicated, using drugs or threatening the safety of the esthetician, the safety of others in our salon, or becomes a danger to themselves. 

Sexual Misconduct/Harassment:

Any form of sexual harassment or misconduct, including but not limited to inappropriate gestures, sexually explicit comments, or requests for sexual favors, will result in immediate termination of the service.

Abusive Behavior:

Verbal abuse, threats, aggressive behavior, or any form of disrespectful language or actions directed towards staff or other clients will lead to immediate action.

Immediate Termination of Service:

If any form of sexual misconduct, harassment, or abusive behavior occurs, the service will be halted immediately, and the client will be asked to leave the premises without exception.

Full-Service Charge:

In the event of inappropriate behavior or misconduct, the full cost of the service will still apply, regardless of when the service is terminated.

Permanent Ban from Services:

Clients who engage in such behavior will be permanently banned from booking future appointments, and Mundelein Police Department will be contacted if necessary.
