For best results, arrive well-hydrated and avoid alcohol or heavy meals before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing, and be prepared for a brief consultation so we can customize your treatment plan.
Please drink plenty of water before your session and avoid taking anti-inflammatory medications unless prescribed by your doctor. A light meal beforehand is fine. The treatment is non-invasive, and you may resume normal activities afterward. Exposure to high heat is to be avoided for 72 hours after your treatment.
There is no downtime, but we recommend staying well-hydrated, avoiding high heat exposure for 72 hours, no alcohol 24 hours before, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to enhance your results. Mild redness or tenderness can occur temporarily and usually resolves quickly. Apply body cream twice daily.
Stop retinoids/retinol (including tretinoin/Retin-A and adapalene) for 5–7 days before treatment.
Pause AHA/BHA exfoliants, benzoyl peroxide, vitamin C (strong acids), and scrubs for 3–5 days.
Avoid waxing, depilatories, lasers, or harsh facials for 1–2 weeks
No tanning or self-tanner for 1 week; come with a clean face (no makeup).
Stay well-hydrated; avoid alcohol the day before.
What can I expect during/after the treatment?
Normal responses: redness, warmth, tightness, and mild swelling for 24–72 hours (may feel like a light sunburn).
Mild pinpoint dryness/flaking can appear days 2–5 as skin renews.
Visible glow often shows within a week; collagen remodeling continues for 4–6 weeks.
Typical plan: a series of 6 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart.
Post-care (first 72 hours is key):
No heat/sweat: avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, intense workouts, and hot yoga.
No sun exposure; wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ once skin calms (usually after 24 hours).
Keep it simple: gentle cleanser + bland hydrator; no acids, retinoids, scrubs, or actives for 5–7 days.
Avoid makeup for 24 hours (mineral makeup only if needed after that).
Don’t pick or exfoliate flaking—let it shed naturally.
