I started my journey in aesthetics back in 1980 as a line manager for Ultima II, Charles The Ritz, and Calvin Klein at Garfinkel’s department store. As an art student, I was always drawn to painting faces. Makeup artistry has always been a source of joy for me, and I love the fresh canvas of a new face. After a few career shifts, an apprenticeship became available, and I earned my esthetician license in June 1996. Besides facials, waxing, and makeup application, I’ve recently added lash lifts (check out some examples on Instagram @brighteyes_nobushytails).

In January 2025, I decided to go solo and opened The Wash and Wax Salon. This past year has been quite exciting, with my own salon and a new grandbaby! I hope you’ll consider making an appointment soon, and I’m also an eyebrow guru.
