FAQS

What should I expect from my first wax?

I’ll guide you through the process before we begin so you know what to expect. After cleansing and applying a protective oil, I remove hair with both hard and soft wax to ensure your comfort. You may feel a quick sting, then I’ll soothe your skin and share aftercare tips.

How should I prepare for my wax?

Hair should be at least ¼ inch long or wait 2-3 weeks from the last time you shaved. Exfoliate gently the day before, avoid lotions or oils on the day of your appointment, and wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Can I get waxed while on my period?

Yes! Wear a tampon or menstrual cup and let me know for extra comfort. If you are uncomfortable getting waxed on your period, you can reach out and reschedule.

How long until hair grows back?

3–4 weeks Regular waxing slows hair regrowth over time.

What should I do after a Brazilian or full-body wax?

Avoid heat: No hot showers, baths, saunas, or intense workouts for the first 24 hours.

Skip tight clothing: Wear loose clothes to reduce friction and irritation.

Hands off: Avoid touching or scratching freshly waxed areas.

Soothe the skin: Apply a gentle, fragrance-free lotion or aloe gel to calm redness.

Exfoliate gently: Start light exfoliation 3 days after your wax to prevent ingrowns.

Avoid sun & tanning: Keep waxed areas out of direct sun for 24–48 hours.
