Tranquil River Day Spa LLC's Policies: Your Rights and Responsibilities as a Spa Guest Although there are many spas around the world, each offering a unique experience, they are all devoted to enhancing overall well-being through a variety of professional services that encourage the renewal of mind, body and spirit. To enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, observe the Code of Conduct, act responsibly and be aware that common sense and personal awareness can help ensure your satisfaction, comfort and safety, as well as that of others. As a spa guest, it is your responsibility to: Communicate your preferences, expectations and concerns. Communicate complete and accurate health information and reasons for your visit. Treat staff and other guests with courtesy and respect. Use products, equipment and therapies as directed. Adhere to the spa’s published policies and procedures. As a spa guest, you have the right to: A clean, safe and comfortable environment. Stop a treatment at any time, for any reason. Be treated with consideration, dignity and respect. Confidential treatment of your disclosed health information. Trained staff who respectfully conduct treatments according to treatment protocols and the spa’s policies and procedures. Ask questions about your spa experience. Information regarding staff training, licensing and certification. To Better Serve You Customer Satisfaction Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not satisfied with any service you received here, please notify us within seven days of your appointment. Gratuity It is customary to leave a 20% gratuity which can be left in cash or card in the therapist personal envelope at the front lobby while checking out. For your convenience, a 20% gratuity will be automatically added to all Spa packages and Spa/ Salon services for groups of four or more. Late Arrival for Appointment Please arrive 15 to 10 min early to possibly start a little early. If you are late for an appointment, your treatment will end on time so that the next appointment may begin as scheduled. Should this happen, your service will be charged in full. Right to Refuse Service We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be inappropriate or disruptive to our Spa atmosphere. Returns Retail items purchased are non-refundable unless damaged or defective with a store receipt. We will gladly Exchange a product if you are not happy with it if it is returned within 10 days of purchase. After 10 days returns will be refunded with a Spa gift card. Pre-payment is needed for any retail special orders. No refunds or exchanges on special orders. Prices Prices and services are subject to change at any time. Gift Cards Gift cards are not refundable or redeemable for cash and may not be used for gratuities. cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. If a gift card is used to hold an appointment, and you miss your appointment or do not reschedule before our 24 hour window, you will forfeit your gift card. Please see our cancellation policy for more details Service Animals and Pets Just for me spa does not allow pets of any kind into the building, we do allow trained service animals. Children To ensure the safety of children and the enjoyment of all clients, we ask that parents or guardians make other arrangements for their children while they are receiving services. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times until the age of 16. Children under 14 who are not receiving services may not be in our Spa waiting areas or service areas at any time. Food/Beverages Please be advised that no outside food or alcoholic beverages may be brought to the Spa. Water, soda and Tea are provided for you to enjoy before and after your service(s). Spa snack box Please inform us if you have specific dietary needs when booking a day at the Spa that includes lunch. Payment/Deposits We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or cash. A credit card is required to hold all appointments. . Cancellations Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy: All will agree, time is our most valuable asset. We ask that appointments be guaranteed against late cancellation or rescheduling with a major credit card. Your card is not billed unless your vacated appointment goes unfilled. We do our best to fill these openings–just like you, we’d much prefer to have another guest take your place than charge for a cancellation. Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule a treatment; 72 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule groups of three or more or three or more treatments. This allows the spa enough time to fill appointments. Late cancellations will be charged 50% of treatments scheduled. “No-shows” will be charged 100% of treatments scheduled. To store subscriber and password files with personal information in a secure manner. We store such files in areas not accessible to Web browsers, behind password protection or offline. Jewelry/Valuables: If possible, please leave your jewelry and valuables at home as you will not need it for your day spa visit. However, if you such items, be mindful of not leaving them behind in treatment rooms or robe pockets. Tranquil River Day Spa LLC is not responsible for loss, damaged or stolen items by other clients. If anything found it will be placed in our lost and found area located in the front lobby. Client will be notified if item is recognized by a team member. PARKING we have a parking lot with 8 or so spaces available for the whole building Including Tranquil River Day Spa LLC plus other tenants. There is off street parking. Please leave any valuables hidden or at home. Tranquil River is not responsible or liable for any damage or theft. INFRARED SAUNA ⚠️First-time users⚠️ ONLY spend 15 minutes in the sauna. We are not responsible for any misguided information given by client to team member about the sauna experience. Although infrared saunas are generally considered safe with no side effects, there are still some potential risks. As with any sauna, the dangers of infrared saunas include the risk of becoming overheated, dehydrated, or dizzy. You can generally avoid this by drinking enough fluids before and after. This is a Professional Spa Establishment: Our trained therapists and estheticians are here solely to help improve your wellness and relaxation. If a therapist ever feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the treatment immediately and direct you to the front desk. A police report and a $500 dollar fine can and WILL be applied if any sexual inappropriate acts are made! Pregnancy or Medical Conditions: Be sure to mention any medical information when you book an appointment. Certain treatments may not be advisable for you. Before your treatment begins, let your therapist or esthetician know of any medical concerns or if you’re wearing contact lenses before you have a facial. If you are pregnant, please let the therapist know how far you are along and any discomforts. It is perfectly safe and encouraged to receive massages while pregnant at any stage, but certain stages require proper pillow equipment to maximize comfort and safety for mother and baby. Modesty Concerns: It is never required that you are unclothed in front of anyone at our day spa. Towels and robes are provided and can keep you covered. Therapists are well trained in the “art of draping” which means that they leave the treatment room while you get under the sheet on the massage table, and they keep you covered at all times except for the area of the body they are massaging. They also leave the treatment room before you get up from the table. Communicating your Preferences: All aspects of treatment can usually be modified to your taste: amount of light, type of music, table temperature, and whether you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. Feel free to ask questions. Your therapist will appreciate knowing your thoughts and clarifying any issues you may have.
