Sugar 101

Sugar hair removal originated in Egypt. It is a mixture of Sugar, lemon, and water. Forget shaving or regular waxing that causes irritation, ingrown hairs, and razor bumps. Sugar is all-natural, gives an exfoliation, and lasts longer—a gentler hair removal technique even for the most sensitive skin.

Sugaring Tips for First timers!

DOES SUGARING HURT AS MUCH AS WAX?

Absolutely not! While the process may cause a slight sting, rest assured that you won't experience the lingering burning sensation associated with waxing.

What to Expect your first time?

Feeling a bit nervous? No worries – you're in good hands! Your first appointment will be the longest, but it's all for your comfort. I'll personally go over everything to make sure you feel at ease.

Your hair roots will pull like tree trunks the first time, and the second time, they will pull like flowers. With every service, it gets easier as we break the integrity of the hair. Consistency is Key!

How OFten should i get sugared?

Three, no more than four weeks, is recommended to capture the hair during the active/anagen phase of hair growth. However, results, strength, and regrowth are different for everyone.

Homecare Advice!

Exfoliating 2-3 times a week and moisturizing daily is recommended. New skin cells regenerate every 27 days, leaving a layer of dead skin. Exfoliating will help break down the integrity of the hair follicle and help with ingrown hairs. Moisturizing will help soften pores, which will help hair glide out and give you more comfort.
