Tardiness

Our team is dedicated to providing high standards of care where-in our clients receive full service lengths to support your wellness journey. We understand that sometimes clients get delayed in transit and arrive after the scheduled service start time.


Delays of less than 5 minutes: we are able to maintain the originally scheduled service length without concern.


Delays of 5-15 minutes: we will perform the service; however, your original service end time will be maintained with no reductions in service charge.


Delays of 15 minutes or more: will be considered a no-show and full service charges will be processed to the card on file.

In cases of multi-service appointments, the remaining services can be performed as scheduled; however, all originally scheduled services will be charged at checkout.


If you know you're going to be late, please call us at your earliest awareness. If the service books allow, we will move your appointment within the same service day without any charges or no-show penalties; though schedule flexibility it is not guaranteed.


Repeat tardiness may result in restricted scheduling.

Rescheduling & Appointment Adjustments

We welcome reschedules and appointment adjustments made via phone call prior to 24 hours before a scheduled appointment.


Changes made within 24 hours or less will be processed as partial or full cancellation; subject to charges as detailed in the cancellation policy.

Cancellation & No Show

Changes made to appointments within 24 hours or less prior to a scheduled appointment will be considered a cancelation and subject to full service charges. In cases of multi-service appointments, the remaining services can be performed as scheduled; however, all originally scheduled services will be charged at checkout.


We will process these charges to the card on file, recorded at time of booking. If we are unable to process these charges, a balance will remain on the account and good standing will be necessary prior to booking further appointments. Clients with unpaid account balances may be subject to restricted booking.

Card on File to Book

Only in the terms detailed above will Why Knot Massage & Self Care LLC use a card on file to process payments. Clients must otherwise present their preferred form of payment at checkout. If a client does not wish to put a card on file to book, they can book in office with a full service charge deposit based on full service pricing or purchase a gift card in the full amount of the booked services. Discounts and special offers will not apply until checkout following service completion; and only if applicable at time of service.


Gift cards and deposits are subject to all policies detailed above as a substitute for a card on file.

Pamper Party Policies

Pamper Party Policies are detailed on the individual participant forms and are only to be used in complimentary conjunction with above policies.

If any details differ, individual participant forms are deemed primary and enforced accordingly.
