Embracing the Spring Equinox with Spirituality and Positive Mindset
What is the Spring Equinox?
The Spring Equinox happens March 20th when day and night are equal in length. It marks the start of spring, as the Earth begins to warm and grow.
Spiritually, it’s a time for fresh starts, balance, and letting go of the old. Think of it as another time of renewal and rebirth. It's the perfect moment to set new intentions and embrace growth in the season ahead.
Three simple and short tips for Embracing the Spring Equinox with Spirituality and Positive Mindset:
1-SET NEW INTENTIONS
Take a moment to reflect on what you want to grow in your life this season. Write it down and visualize (manifest) it blossoming. Please remember that what we want to grow changes through the seasons, so if you need to give yourself grace when doing this, it's okay!
2- CLEAR THE CLUTTER
Let go of anything that no longer serves you, whether it’s physical or emotional. Create space for fresh energy. Do that spring clean and if you haven't used it or worn in for over a year maybe it's time to get rid of it? ALSO....declutter your mind! If specific thoughts/beliefs no longer compliment you then release, release, release!!!
3- CONNECT WITH NATURE
Spend time outdoors, breathe in the fresh air, and feel the Earth’s renewal. Allow its energy to inspire your own growth. Take a walk, a hike, go fishing, head to the coast....PLUG into nature!
Remember, the best way to plan for these actions is to add it your calendar and commit!

3 Essential Tips for Nurturing Self-Love and Mental Well-Being
February is the month of love and generally we think of outward love. Finding someone to love us, or the expectation of those who love us. I find it crucial to focus on self-love for that's the love that needs to be fueled in a genuine unconditional capacity for healthy love of others. Let's take a look at three tips to nurture ourselves this month:
1-PRACTICE DAILY AFFIRMATIONS
Affirmations help shift our mindsets that creates positivity and self-acceptance.
I suggest starting your day with an affirmation that you created or that speaks directly to you. Repeat them three times during prayer/meditation/ or use in a mirror exercise. Example "I am worthy of self-love, I am worthy of self-love, I am worthy of self-love"
Note that affirmations should change over time and that's completely normal. Listen to your inner voice and just go with it. Trust yourself!
2-SET BOUNDARIES AND PRIORITIZE REST
I'm referring to healthy boundaries because these are essential for maintaining your mental well-being. A simple shift of utilizing the power of the word "NO" when necessary for you and letting go of what others might think.
Schedule "me time" on your calendar as if it were a doctor's appointment. Hold yourself accountable and spend time doing something that brings you enjoyment (reading, exercising, napping, hobbies, etc).
Be in charge of your life calendar and leave the guilt behind.
3-EMBRACE A CREATIVE OUTLET
Creativity is therapeutic and we've gotten so busy that we don't allow for it anymore. This can help release our emotions and is a form of active meditation. Engage in it and allow it to help clear the mind and improve your mood.
Perhaps you incorporate something you used to love doing or you try something new. Explore all areas and do it with no expectations, just allow yourself to soften into it and be open to what you might learn about yourself.
