At BodyFit Wellness, community has always been something deeply personal to me.
What started as a wellness space has grown into something much more meaningful, shaped by shared experiences, genuine connections, and the people who have become part of this journey with me along the way.
One of the most meaningful moments in this journey was creating “Mike Mike on the Move: 1st Annual Autism Awareness 5K Walk/Run” held on Saturday, May 11, 2024. What started as something deeply personal rooted in love, awareness, and support, became a space where families, caregivers, and individuals came together.
In that moment, I saw so clearly how important it is to create environments where people feel safe, included, and not alone in their experiences.
That experience shaped the heart of everything I do today.

Over time, I’ve come to understand that true community is not just about bringing people together, it’s about making space for every kind of person to belong, especially those who are often misunderstood or overlooked.
This is why supporting the special needs population and their families has become such an important part of Bodyfit Wellness for me.
Through my son, Mike, and our lived experiences, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when spaces are created with patience, awareness, and genuine care where individuals don’t have to change who they are in order to be accepted.
Through my work, I continue to hold space for wellness and inclusion, with the intention of creating environments where people feel seen, supported, and valued exactly as they are.
At the core of it all, this community means one thing to me:
it is a space where everyone belongs.
