Kate is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I’ve tried everything for my chronic hip pain for 10+ years, from physical therapy to yoga, to no avail, and Kate’s mobility and strength classes have helped more than anything I’ve ever done in the past. She listens and often adjusts her classes based on your feedback, and will help correct you when needed in a way that makes you better, not just focused on perfect form. I used to have no idea what I was doing at the gym and Kate has given me the confidence and the knowledge to go and do my own workouts. She is so knowledgeable, so understanding, and so creative in her work and you really see the results the more you work with her. After about 2 years of working with her, I feel like I am stronger and more mobile than I’ve ever been.

I’m so grateful I found Kate’s classes! I knew I needed to incorporate more strength and mobility into my exercise routine. I have never felt comfortable in traditional gyms and was wary of fitness classes that were focused on body appearance. But I immediately felt comfortable in Kate’s classes. Not only is Kate a supportive and engaged coach who gives personalized and hands-on feedback, she has created a lovely community. I highly recommend her small group classes to anyone who is looking for a great workout, less pain and injury prevention, and a fun hour with new friends.

Kate in an amazing trainer! She is personable, knowledgeable, and good at her job. She knows how to design a program that meets your needs, when to push you forward and when to just help you get through the day. I really appreciate her attention to the why of the exercise (don't just rep with a barbell to say you can do x reps, get strong so you can pick up your kid more easily!). Kate and I have been working together remotely now for several years, and I am always impressed how effective her routines are. She'll work with your individual set up to make sure you're getting your best movements in. And if maybe a position needs a tweak, she'll give the right cues to help you adjust. No fooling her if you're being sloppy! If she's this good by computer, she's downright awesome in person!

I’ve been working with Kate for over a year and have never felt better! Before I moved to Burlington, I had reached out to her because she was doing a MTB training and I was going to miss some due to the move, so she sent me links to her Vimeo videos so I wouldn’t miss out. Kate is doing a great job in helping me to increase my balance and eliminate tennis, skiing and general old age aches and pains. Kate comes with a plan and makes the sessions challenging, varied and fun. I'm seeing positive improvements after only a few months, so I'm a true believer in her approach.
