Kate is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I’ve tried everything for my chronic hip pain for 10+ years, from physical therapy to yoga, to no avail, and Kate’s mobility and strength classes have helped more than anything I’ve ever done in the past. She listens and often adjusts her classes based on your feedback, and will help correct you when needed in a way that makes you better, not just focused on perfect form. I used to have no idea what I was doing at the gym and Kate has given me the confidence and the knowledge to go and do my own workouts. She is so knowledgeable, so understanding, and so creative in her work and you really see the results the more you work with her. After about 2 years of working with her, I feel like I am stronger and more mobile than I’ve ever been.

Emerge has been the highlight of my summer. As a current college tennis player I knew I needed to find a good way to stay in shape this summer, and I find it extremely helpful to workout in a group. Kate and Muhammed’s group classes are excellent. Unlike many typical gym settings, I am so excited to come and workout at Emerge each day. These workouts have significantly improved my strength, speed and balance. I now know new ways to prevent injury and improve my mobility.

In addition to the physical health benefits of Emerge I have had so much fun. The community within Emerge is like no other place. The people here are the best, and the energy is great. Vermont is lucky to have this amazing gym.

Kate is doing a great job in helping me to increase my balance and eliminate tennis, skiing and general old age aches and pains. Kate comes with a plan and makes the sessions challenging, varied and fun. I'm seeing positive improvements after only a few months, so I'm a true believer in her approach.
