Veronika 

My name is Veronika Engebretson. I am from Western Montana, having been raised in Alberton, Missoula and Hamilton. In high school I enjoyed cheer, soccer, tennis, track, choir and theater. For every performance, I was always the girl the others could count on to apply their liquid eyeliner or curl and style their hair. After high school, I attended the University of Montana. I've never been a scholarly girl, so I quickly dropped out and started working at restaurants in Missoula. I attended Modern Beauty School in Missoula. When I finished school I moved to Las Vegas, NV for 4 years to apprentice and gain experience in low to high end salons in the area. I worked with brands such as Wella, Loreal, Karastasse, R+Co, Oribe, Paul Mitchell, Redken, Mizani, Matrix, Kevin Murphy and Leaf and Flower. After learning my Craft, I moved to Boise, Idaho. I worked in a commission salon in the city and a booth rental salon in Mountain Home for 3 years. My focus turned toward learning hair extension techniques. At the time, tape in extensions and beaded wefts were popular so I was practicing those techniques. I learned how to do sew in wefts while I was in Mountain Home, and in 2020 I moved back home and worked in a booth rental in Missoula. Since moving to Montana I've taken 4 different weft classes including Crown Extensions, Bellami, JZ, and Aqua. I settled in The Bitterroot Valley where I opened my salon, Vivid Hair Studio. I've owned my salon for 3 years now, selling Kevin Murphy and Leaf and Flower hair care among various other brands depending on client needs. I like to focus on hair growth, gray blending, long hair, curly hair, blondes and hair extensions. 

Vivid Hair Studio is a peaceful, cute and cozy salon. Whimsy and nurturing energy flows through the space, leaving clients, pets, plants and myself feeling happy and taken care of when you leave. I plan to service my community to the best of my abilities through honest hard work. I hope to one day have a place that stylists and clients can come to and feel at home with their needs met.
