Studio Policies


Annual Registration fee: $45

Charged upon first registration, prorated to $25 if registering April - August

Charged annually

*Annual fee will be waived for Spring Session 2024, all registration this year will be charged September 9, 2024 or within 1 week of your first class. 


Attire for Class:


Tight-fitting leggings, full-length or just below-the knee

Tight-fitting tank or t-shirt or leotard (no loose-fitting shirts)

Socks are ok during warm-up, bare feet during skills training

No jewelry (stud earrings are ok)

Hair must be tied back


No zippers, sequins, or other snag-risks on clothing.


No gum or food in class. 


Please maintain good hygiene. Clean hands and feet as well as using deodorant when needed is advised to keep our equipment clean. 


Make Up Policy:

If a student misses a class they will receive a voucher for an open gym attendance. We allow one missed class voucher per session. 


Drop Policy:

Class sessions and camps are non-refundable once the first class of the session or camp has commenced. Missed private lessons that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance will be billed $25. 


We expect that students come to class to learn and act kindly and respectfully toward all staff and fellow students. Please make sure students arrive on time, bring a positive attitude and understand the rules of the space. 


Students age 5 and up may be dropped off for class, parents can stay or leave. (Students under 5 must have an adult present on the premises of the studio for the duration of the class)


Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before class begins. Students may wait in the lobby and enter the studio at the time of class. 



Studio Behavior


Students not following rules will be asked to take a break or be removed from the class for the day. This is for the safety and class quality of all students. 


Open Gym Rules:


Only practice what you know or have learned in class.

Be kind and courteous to others.

Wait your turn in line and only take a short turn to let others have a chance too.

Equipment that is out is what is available, instructor won’t be changing out equipment, but can adjust heights if needed. Please ask.

Do not attempt to rig or touch the rigging points. 

Use a mat at all times.

No big swings that might collide with others. 

No more than 2 people on an apparatus at a time.

Listen to instructor at all times and take a break if asked. 

Use good classroom behavior - please refrain from yelling and screaming and being wild.


Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 30 days or more before the first day of class/camp, you will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee for a refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the first day of class except in case of illness. Cancellations due to illness will require a doctor’s certificate, and we can refund or prorate only up to a maximum of 50% of your tuition. There will be no refunds or prorating due to student absences. If The Hive cancels a session due to low enrollment or other reason, we will refund all tuition and fees paid by you.
