Clients are responsible for informing their therapist of any current medical treatments or changes in their health. If a medical condition or treatment may affect care, written clearance from the appropriate healthcare provider (such as a physician, chiropractor, or physical therapist) may be required before sessions can continue.
For post-cosmetic surgery Manual Lymphatic Drainage, LIFT Lymphatic LLC requires written clearance from the operating surgeon confirming that:
Surgeon clearance may be emailed prior to your appointment or brought in paper form to your first visit.
Open and honest communication is essential to providing safe, effective care. Clients are encouraged to share feedback about their treatment, including techniques they find helpful, areas of discomfort, changes in symptoms, or any body areas they would like avoided. Please inform your therapist of any pain, sensitivities, or concerns at any time during your session.
To ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment, the following policies apply:
To respect the time of both our clients and therapist, we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee. Cancellations may be made by phone or text. If a payment method is not on file, an invoice will be sent to the email address provided.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur. Exceptions may be considered at the therapist's discretion on a case-by-case basis. One courtesy waiver may be granted per calendar year for qualifying situations.
Clients who miss a scheduled appointment without notice ("no-shows") may be required to prepay for future appointments and may be subject to the full service fee.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and to ensure your session begins promptly.
If you arrive more than 5–10 minutes late, your session will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid delaying other clients. The remaining appointment time will be used as effectively as possible, but late arrival will result in reduced hands-on treatment time. The full service fee may still apply.
If your therapist is delayed, you will receive your full scheduled treatment time whenever possible. If the therapist is more than 15 minutes late, an appropriate discount will be applied to your session.
To help protect the health and safety of our clients and therapist, LIFT Lymphatics LLC asks that you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of a contagious illness.
Appointments will be postponed if you have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or symptoms of a contagious condition, including but not limited to influenza (flu), COVID-19, strep throat during the contagious period, conjunctivitis (pink eye), chickenpox, measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, hepatitis A, meningococcal disease, impetigo, scabies, ringworm, head lice, thrush, or any other contagious infection.
If you are unsure whether it is appropriate to keep your appointment, please contact us before your scheduled visit. We are happy to help determine whether rescheduling is the best option.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
