Mane Haven was inspired by two sisters, Katie and Kelly, who grew up in Lombard, Illinois. Their dream of opening their own salon became a reality in the spring of 2023 when Mane Haven Salon was born. Katie and Kelly’s determination and drive began in early childhood. They started their first business at a young age by setting up a stand selling homemade jewelry, American flag safety pins, and other crafts during the Fourth of July weekend. Living just a block away from the Taste of Lombard, their stand became a hot spot. As they got older, both sisters discovered a fierce passion for the hair industry, and they knew that they would one day open their own salon. After many years of planning, discussing, brainstorming, hard work and dedication, they finally found the perfect location right in the heart of their hometown of Lombard, IL.

What they love most about their job is helping other stylists succeed in their careers, by giving them the tools and education to work towards their goals behind the chair. There is nothing more rewarding to them than watching their team succeed and hit their goals. Mane Haven was created to be a Haven and safe space for likeminded stylists, a space of community (family), encouragement, inclusiveness and growth.
